We and my partner always come here. The food is great and they often bring you a lovely soup even before you’ve ordered! It’s also very cheap!
Visited here with a friend a couple of weeks ago - it was delicious and a great experience. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and catered to my inability to eat lentils. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning!
Now trading under Today Shawarma. Popped in for quick tea Saturday night 5:30. Tables available - but got very busy shortly after mainly for take-aways. We were offered complimentary lentil soup while waiting for order. I had chicken tikka - best ever had, chicken tender + juicy. Husband had lamb kebab + thoroughly enjoyed. Soft drinks and total bill £26. Will be back!
Hidden gem of cheap shawarma and really good food, especially considering the price. Me and my brother shared a huge mean for two for like 15 quid. Very nice gentleman greeted us and offered to suggest food. Service was absolutely lovely, staff is super charming. Place is a bit warm but an amazing trade for the overall experience
We stumbled upon this grill looking for a different place. I’m so happy we found it! I had the absolute best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in years. I had the mixed shawarma platter. It was fresh and delicious. The naan was cooked to order. The owner brought us some lentil soup while he fixed our meal it was also delicious. The service was gracious and friendly. If I lived in Edinburgh, I’d be eating here weekly. I really wanted to lick the plate clean it was so good! Give it a try you won’t regret it.
