We came down for a few drinks the other day and were delighted by the service and manners of the staff. In particular the server Kimberley was absolutely delightful and helpful in so many ways. We highly recommend coming here and will be back soon!!!
We visited here today and unfortunately I was very disappointed due to the food. My wife and I had the turkey Xmas dinner and the roast potatoes were rock hard as they must have been reheated and the carrots and brocoli were hard as pig iron but the meal was changed for a fresh one and yes it was no better I managed to eat the turkey in gravy but I was offered my money back for my dinner but I settled for a free dessert and that was lovely my daughter had burger and fries and that was fine and my grandson had chicken nuggets and chips also fine but unfortunately I won't be back anytime soon.
Wow 1st time here and will def be back. Haggis fritters were awesome but massive portion. Gammon stk great and philly stk sub was good too. BBQ sauce was lush. Staff are really friendly and attentive too. Well worth a visit for sure
We came for a family meal a few weeks ago and were delighted with our experience! The food was delicious (especially the burgers). The service was fabulous from Mhairi and Rosie and all the other staff were approachable and enthusiastic. We will definitely be back here.
We visited here recently and I must admit I was very disappointed in the food. Firstly I will say the staff are excellent. I was also really impressed by the decor, especially the wall of local trinkets. Food wise though it's not great. I had a katsu banquet and maybe I chose the wrong meal but it wasn't great. The rice was poor, the chicken wasn't nice and the sauce was not good. I should have kept it simple, maybe fish and chips because lots of people were enjoying theirs. My wife thought her burger was quite good although neither of us enjoyed our cheesecake. We had Tesco vouchers to use so it helps that it didn't cost much but I probably won't be back which is a shame. I like trying new places.
If i could give this place 0 star i would. It was filthy. The menus had sticky sauce or other of sticky liquid on them ALL. The food was microwaved rubbish. Tables that were ment to be cleared and cleaned by staff were still dirty and when given our cutlery it was still dirty with someone elses food. Absolutely atrocious and will never ever set eyes on the building again. AVOID AT ALL COST. IF YOU WANT AN INFECTION OF SOME FORM THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO .
My wife and I had a lovely lunch there on Saturday 21st of January and it was great. I had one of the Saturday specials which was the mixed grill and I received on my plate 2 pieces of chicken/2 sausages/a 1/4inch thick Gammon steak and a small beef steak plus chips and beans and 1/4 of a tomato plus 3 onion rings only £9.50. My wife got the breakfast and we had 2 teas total price £23. Their menus are great with plenty of choice. We will be back.
Time for food before the movie we visited this restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. We really only wanted a snacks so we stuck to a couple of starters and a drink. Tasty food did the job. Reasonable prices too.
Omg, what a great meal we ve just had! First time eating here and For the price of each plate the amount of food that was on it is excellent... huge portions, good quality and the staff are very attentive. The service was quick for Saturday evening... Will defo be back.
Went there for tea. Have got to say was good meals and portion sizes. Every meal was cooked perfectly. Would recommend and deffinetly make the journey just to go back there for tea.
