   Massive shoutout to the staff at Cut Bothwell absolutely superb from start to finish! They went above and beyond, even keeping the kitchen open late for me after a hike. Friendly, attentive and genuinely made the experience top notch. The food? Unreal. Macaroni bites, a CUT Burger stacked to perfection and a caramel latte that hit the spot exactly what was needed after a long day. Highly recommend, not just for the food, but for the brilliant service. Can’t wait to come back

   For us it was a special occasion so I splashed out. We had the porterhouse steak and some sides/sauces. I personally thought the staff were friendly. Music was loud at first but it quietened down as the place had people finish their meals/etc. I’d certainly return but maybe during the quieter times of the week. Overall the food was cooked beautifully and they were able to offer a doggy bag for the leftovers for my….. dog. So even she’ll be able to enjoy the meal too.

   Lovely atmosphere. Great service, cannot fault. Food was delicious. The only negatives I could say are that the service charge is added on to the bill and isn’t discretionary and I ordered a cocktail that was more expensive on the bill than on the menu. But on the whole we were very happy so didn’t raise these. Would definitely eat here again

   We visited Cut for the first time a few weeks ago & our visit was good but sadly not as good as we had hoped. The food & drink were great. Steak was cooked perfectly. Our server was lovely, she was very accommodating & friendly. The service was a tad slow however it wasn’t an issue for us as we were enjoying our night. The thing that let down our visit was the atmosphere, it wasn’t there and when waiting for our taxi we sat in the bar for a drink which was met with children running around screaming & shouting.

   They fitted us in on a Sunday with two little ones. Really good chat with the kids. Food was amazing as always, picked up a Sunday lunch which was tremendous!

   Heard a lot about the restaurant so thought I'd give it a go with 5 adults and 2 kids. I ordered the steak which was good and rest of food looked nice except the starters which seemed over priced and small portions. The service was the issue. Took staff a long time to clear our table and the decor and atmosphere was very cold. Steak was good though so I'll be back for another.

   The young 16 year old waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything. The food was lovely, husband enjoyed selection of beers (I drove) however we sat VERY close to another couple, was a little awkward but didn't put us off and the steak was AMAZING! Been here a few times and always looking to go back.

   I have been to Cut on a few occasions now and would say to avoid it at the weekend! We waited over an hour for our steak. The steak was tasty but very fatty (not the best cut of meat), very unexpected for a steakhouse. The cut should be superior for the superior price. I have never been disappointed when I visited on a weekday. Maybe there is a lack of staff at the weekend and they can't cope with the number of customers. I did see a few people ask why it was taking so long to be served.
