   I recently visited Stack & Still and left feeling a bit underwhelmed. While the concept is solid, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The food was mid — nothing particularly standout considering the price point, which I found to be on the higher side. I was upsold a side with little explanation, and as a first-time visitor, I wasn’t given any guidance on how things operate. It would’ve been helpful to be told where to find things like sauces and seasoning, or even just a quick intro to the setup. Service was average — polite enough, but lacked warmth or attentiveness. For a place that leans on customisation and experience, a bit more engagement would go a long way. One thing worth noting for others: the venue is fully cashless, so make sure you have a card or mobile payment ready before you go. All in all, not a bad place, but I wouldn’t be in a rush to return. With a few improvements in service and communication, it could be much better.

   The service is absolutely amazing. The pancakes are a godsend. The toilets are good and well maintained. Never been here before but definitely coming back for more This picture was the double buttermilk pancake along with chocolate shavings, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream

   Had the Savoury Chicken buttermilk pancake with additional egg . The food came quickly and was good but a little dry, I think it needs a sauce as a standard (set menu item). Definitely fills you up and can be customised.

   Good idea, mediocre execution. The toppings of savoury pancakes are quite low quality for the price (almost £10 for a single pancake) and everything is clearly just microwaved in a minute before serving, plus the ketchup-based sauces are all you really taste. Sweet pancakes are definitely better and actually enjoyable, but still overpriced in my opinion.

   The menu looked amazing and lots of choice. I thought I'd try something different and ordered a buckwheat pancake with avocado and chickpea salsa. The toppings were fine but the buckwheat pancake was terrible. It had a sour taste and I could not finish it. My daughter had a gluten free vegan pancake and the flavour was very artificial. Very disappointed, it was very expensive for a meal I didn't enjoy. I'm sure the normal pancakes are fine. The server was good and said he'd also thought the buckwheat recipe needs improving.

   Nice atmosphere, good service. Pricy for the quality of the food - if there was less quantity and a bit cheaper, it would be much more worth it. Lastly, the ‘All American Stack’ is an aberration - it would be a surprise if anyone ever tasted anything under the flood of ketchup and mustard that the pancakes are drowned in.

   Very good food, massive portions, good price, lovely staff. But the tables and highchair could have done with a decent clean first. Only other disappointment was £2.50 for a tiny portion of syrup. Very American style of pancakes, don't underestimate how filling the double is. Loved the bottomless drip coffee
