Wow.. we were blown away by this place. We had been meaning to try here for a while, and I'm disappointed we haven't sooner. The mixed grill was the best mixed grill we have ever had (and we have had many) staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be back. Thank you!
An amazing experience we stumbled on in Glasgow. We were visiting from the US and wanted to grab a quick bite. Loved the family who runs the restaurant. They stopped and chatted with us and treated us so warmly! Would 10000% recommend.
Top notch, highly recommended! I started my meal in Sholeh with a lot of skepticism, but every bite surprised me step by step to the point that I decided to call it one of the best experiences I had with a Persian restaurant. I ordered a Soltani and my wife ordered a Momtaz. All the kabab skewers were perfect. Koubide, Juje, and Barg were tender, juicy and balanced in the spices. The rice coming with the dish taste descent (A bit of a better saffron can bring it to the next level). I highly suggest the marinated olive side dish next to the meal. I suggest Sholeh for a premium experience of Persian grill dishes.
Tasty Iranian food in Glasgow. London is spoilt for choice for great Iranian venues so my rating biased. Just trying to focus the attention on the food, it was tasty and meats were as expected. Venue looks a little tired. Service was nice from the ladies but a tad slow. Car parking at rear is a great addition but tight.
Delicious food, great portion sizes and friendly, attentive staff. Only issue is parking (as it’s pretty limited) but other than that all good.
My Iranian friend an I had the mixed grill , soup and rice. We did not wait long for the food to come but only around 6 people in the restaurant. Food was very nice but thought I was very expensive for what it was. Two lamb strips one chicken skewer and one lamb skewer was over 4 pounds with a little salad. I would go back but just be aware of the prices!
I ordered the Momtaz with rice, the chicken was beautifully done and tender however the koobideh was a let down. It was quite thin and overdone. Other than that, it was a nice experience, the staff were really attentive and friendly.
Persian food at curry capital I really enjoyed this Sholeh’s ambience. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Lunch was served quick and fresh. One of the best places in Glasgow to try Persian food.
