   My mum hosted a birthday lunch here recently. The service , atmosphere and most importantly food was absolutely perfect. I had only been once before but will definitely be back….soon. Thank you to all the staff, you made a special day perfect.

   Maybe not under the best circumstances, we visited after a funeral service. The staff were all very friendly and so helpful and the lunch we had, a mixture of soup, sandwiches, scones and cakes was just perfect. If we are in that area again, we'd certainly go back.

   What a charming and well decorated hidden restaurant. Loved the theme of the decor, very relaxing. Nice outdoor seating areas, car park at back. Menu choices ample with specials. Decent prices. Service was good, loved the glass of water brought to table without asking. Chateaubriand medium ordered, more medium to well in my opinion. Would have liked a bit more blood especially in the centre. Chips were lovely, fish and chips ok, batter soggy though. Would return though to try lunch time menu as the service was good and I really liked the decor.

   Been visiting Mitchell’s regularly over the years. Food is always amazing. Lorna is the best server ever. Know what everyone has ordered, even on a table of 10. Atmosphere always friendly and inviting. Looking forward to many more visits.

   Our first visit here and absolutely will not be our last! We loved our dining experience from beginning to end and can’t wait to return. Upon entering we noticed a stunning outside area and very quirky surroundings. When we arrived inside we were greeted and taken to a table by a lovely friendly lady, once in we were given water and drinks order taken. A very knowledgeable waitress came and told us in detail what the specials were and left us to ponder. The food arrived and was fantastic! The chef is just a master of his trade and we passed this on via the waitress. Dishes were generous and plated beautifully. We had some drinks and a desert to share, also pleasantly surprised at the bill. We will be back very soon to try out more on the menu! Thank you, you guys have nailed it!

   The entrance we went in to the restaurant isn't the easiest for people needing to use the disabled badge parking, However, lovely food very much enjoyed our meals and cocktails. Would highly recommend ! Staff were very pleasant too.

   First class service and quality of the food. Duck breast starter was perfect combination of texture and taste. Venison was cooked just as I like it and the tower of mash, to and haggis a perfect match for the robust sauce. Companions enjoyed their dishes also (cod, lamb and chicken satay). One star off for the raucous group next to us who rather spoiled our evening.
