OK, this seems like a great idea. You can buy a range of authentic "Mother India" curries to take home and enjoy. Unfortunately it turns out to be really quite expensive and more hassle because everything is cold. It's so much less expensive and easier ordering a takeaway curry, which arrives at your home hot and ready to enjoy. I should also add that the pre-packed portion of rice is far too small. It's a good idea, but not great value for money and you're left with the hassle of having to heat it all up. I should add that our curry tasted good, unfortunately the lamb curry was tough as old boots.

We got curry , pakora, rice and peshwari nan at the weekend. All great The curries are amazing. Particularly the Chicken Chasni. It’s a good source for hard to find spices and supplies. Excellent service as well.

I recently had a fantastic takeaway meal from Dining in Bearsden this past Saturday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. One of the things I absolutely love about this place is that you can order tapas portions of any of the curries on their menu. This means I can enjoy both a tikka masala and a lamb dish at my leisure, sampling a variety of flavors without overindulging. The gentleman who always serves me is an absolute superstar. His at-ease manner makes it so inviting to ask questions about all the curries he has on display, and he subtly encourages you to try something slightly different than what you would normally pick. He is by far the friendliest of all the shopkeepers around, always asking how your day’s going and really making a connection with each customer. Some may say that kind of personal touch isn’t relevant anymore, but in this day and age, it’s a lost art and a cherished part of the ceremony of picking up a succulent Indian meal. Although not a requirement for me, it’s worth noting that they offer options for gluten-free and dairy-free diets, as well as clear warnings about nut oils and other allergens. This attention to detail ensures that everyone can enjoy their meals safely and comfortably. As for the meal itself, it was fantastic. I tend to buy a few tapas dishes and consume them at my leisure over a couple of sittings, which means there are no major regrets about eating too much. I simply plate what I want from the tapas dishes and enjoy at a nice pace. If you’re looking for delicious food and exceptional service, I highly recommend Dining in Bearsden.

Picked up some Chilli Garlic Chicken and some Butter Chicken curry, slapped them both on a homemade pizza base and fired it in the pizza oven. It was out of this world. Everyone we had round for dinner loved it.

Mother India Dining In Bearsden is by far the best curry in Glasgow. I go out from the West End especially. Fabulous fresh tasting curry. Great choice. Fantastic fresh tasting curry. Lovely helpful owner. We go back again and again. I really can't recommend highly enough. Only complaint is that it's not open all week. We ve tried Mother India Argyle Street on other nights but just not the same.

I echo the review below. Its expensive for you to heat up yourself, average curry at best. This place has nothing on the other Mother Of Indias in Glasgow city, go collect them fresh from there if you want decent food!

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. We got take way £33 for two people at that price my expectations were very high. We got lamb curry, chicken curry two different types and nana bread. The food was the tasteless chicken was dry and the curry was no flavour like watering. Lamb was chowing and same as curry the worst I ever tasted. Even the bread wasn't good. Honestly, I don't understand the good reviews of this place even my dog didn't like the food. I would like to get a full refund as I didn't enjoy the food.

Fantastic Indian cuisine in Glasgow. Certainly wasn’t expecting that! The place is also super comfortable inside and has a great small cafe feel. Tikka Chicken and Lamb are highly recommended. Super friendly staff!
