We usually have a really nice experience in this restaurant..but unfortunately not so last night. Probably with it being a Monday night is was very quiet. We were a party of four and there was only one other table of four at this time 6.30pm. It was nice and warm when we arrived but heating was turned off before we had eaten. Talking of eating the naan bread was awful, very dry, must have been the reheated version. All in all the food was average. We left around 8.30pm and it was like they couldn't wait to close, as the door was locked as we left, probably because there was no more bookings. The two young ladies who are usually there were missing unfortunately as they are always really nice and welcoming. So sorry, we won't be returning.

Had an amazing dinner at kismot last night! The Irn bruuna and the chocolate massalam were a particular highlight and we also loved the chocolate naan. Would highly recommend to any looking for a great curry house in Edinburgh

We ate Rice, Lamb curry and vegan haggis. All the foods taste delicious. Honestly I felt the taste of my homeland. We really liked the food. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has a cozy environment. For authentic Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine, I will recommend this restaurant.

Mango lassi was too sweet Biryani was quite wet, not standard. Lamb was a little dry but passably tender. The bowl of sauce that came w it was plain too Naan looked interesting but was quite dry and dense. Crisp didn't last V long either They didn't have deshi lamb that day, which is their signature, we got the deshi ckn instead. That was decent

Had a family meal here. Great tasting food, variety and the staff fantastic. Had to ask for a doggy bag to take food home, portions very good. Highly recommend.

Best Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in Edinburgh, or possibly in the UK. We were a large group who tried various dishes across the menu. All were delicious and tasted very authentic. The highlight was, without a shadow of a doubt, the Lamb Deshi Kani, just wow. The service was incredible. So charismatic, friendly, hospitable, and bursting with great recommendations. Cannot wait to come back next time we are in Edinburgh.
