The food was superb & very filling. We had the chicken & the prawn puri’s, amazing! Then pilau rice,korma curry, lamb curry & peshwari naans. All the dishes were very nice! The waiter was very attentive & friendly. 10/10 for the food & the service. Highly recommend!
We come every week, sometimes twice. I’ve eaten in Indians all over Scotland, England and abroad and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It quite simply the best food at the best price. Amazing restaurant…!!
Service fantastic and friendly. Pleasant and warm atmosphere. Food super tasty hot and fresh. Well presented lamb dish was amazing and tasty monk fish also fresh and super tasty. If you can finish all this you are doing well as portion sizes are big. So all in all it’s a 5**** review which don’t come easy for me lol
first takeaway in ages of this restaurant thought ill make my own order compared to sharing with family, I was delighted & the price came to good value as shown in the photo.
Visited Bayleaf with family and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and freshly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. A great spot for both small gatherings and larger groups—highly recommended!
Amazing food. Very authentic Indian dishes. Sweet mango lassi is a must. One of my favourite places to eat.
Just been for a meal for 6 people and have to say it was amazing. From walking in the door to out we were treated like royalty. The food I was apprehensive about as been to the bay leaf in pumpherston but it was just as good if not even better. The reason for being better is the staff. They do everything for you wether it being drink or choice of food. I would recommend asking Ur waiter for the best choice.
Worst veg pakora ever came cooked in noodles chilli sauce was from B&M curry was like pepper lamb was full of fat and greasy to top that of a Microwaved Nan with garlic butter no be back and to add to your comment I did make the manager aware he wasn’t to happy grabbed our plates and gave me a dirty look. Not once did they say to replace it. The mints after dinner mints were a god send to remove the greasy taste.
Very friendly staff on arrival. I was made to feel extremely welcome. The food was very tasty, well presented but nothing more than expected from this restaurant. I have no doubts recommending the Bayleaf to anyone and encourage all to experience their food.
Had a takeaway last night (Fri 18th Nov) and it was fantastic. We collected and the restaurant was in absolute chaos but that is maybe to be expected on the first Friday they were open. We ordered a variety of starters, side dishes and mains along with different breads and rices. Everything was piping hot and tasted fantastic. One of our family is not keen on Indian food but even he enjoyed it and said it was the best he had ever tasted. We will certainly be back and wish you the best of luck with your new restaurant.
