Got 2 pizzas, a portion of chips and mozzarella bread as a takeout, I only live 2 mins round the corner (collection wasnt available) but when I received the food it was cold… this is the 2nd time this has happened, there won’t be a 3rd!!
Good takeaways are hard to find, and this is one of the best around. I have been ordering here to collect myself for over a year and a half now. I don't even live close to linwood, but i am more than happy to drive for 15mins each way, because every single time i have had high quality, tasty, piping hot food (both with pizzas and pastas) I have found the staff have always been polite, friendly and hard working. I rarely order in peak hours and have never waited for more than 10 minutes. This place is a small, restaurant quality italian takeaway, so people comparing it with late night kebab shops and the amount of toppings you get on those kind of pizzas are missing the point i feel. These are proper pizzas and pastas made with high quality ingredients, prepared properly and anything i have ordered here has always been exceptional quality and flavour. I highly recommend giving the mia casa pasta or quattro stagioni pizza a try and dont forget to order some garlic bread, which is up there with the nicest i have ever had from anywhere. From my experience this place is 5 stars all day.
I had heard lots of people talking about this place and I finally passed it on my travels and had to try it. I got the macaroni and garlic bread and my goodness was it good. Tasty as anything and the portion size was more than enough for me. Look forward to trying to their various pasta dishes.
I've just received this monstrosity from my Athena To Go order on Paisley Eats. I tried phoning to complain and hopefully get this rectified, but the wee lassy on the phone is pretending she can't hear me and hanging up. Ordered the mixed box meal, chicken and pork, fries, salad, tzatziki sauce and pita bread. Anyone who's had this before knows it should come like one big sandwich cut into four pieces. I've ordered this multiple times and it's been spot on. However, as you can see, this has just been thrown into the box like someone feeding the dog. The pita breads were found on top of each other on the side. At first I thought... is this a build it yourself deal today? But there are only 4 pita breads so it's clearly missing 4 other play pieces.... No tzatziki found anywhere in the mess. I cannot believe they've sent this out honestly... Must be someone quitting tomorrow and they just don't care anymore. Regardless, this was too shocking to ignore. Won't be back.
I have never been here before but this was a very pleasant surprise. The meal was excellent, there was more than enough as well and the service was first class. If you are into Italian cuisine and near Linwood, give this a try, you wont be disappointed.
An excellent and varied Italian menu. The food is tasty, well presented and affordable, service is polite and efficient. My wife had lasagne and I had chicken, broccoli, mushrooms cooked in a creamy sauce with pasta. We both enjoyed our meals and will be back.
Absolutely lovely meal here, really enjoyed it start to finish. A lovely selection of wines and the staff were fantastic, very attentive.
