I've been following them on Instagram for awhile now as I love Italian food specially fr3shly made pasta! I finally made it here last weekend, on what proved to be a fabulous sunny day in Portobello. Ordered a Porchetta sandwich for lunch which was "good, really good!" Then came back for takeaway tagliatelle with their 8hr braised beed ragu (fantabulous!) and a portion of braised beef lasagne which is really really tasty! My only regret is not buying more! I will definitely be back!

We've finally managed to pop in again today and got delicious pappardelle, slow cooked beef ragù and a focaccia. OMG!! When I say it was absolutely delicious, the focaccia portion was very generous, absolutely massive. Thank you so much guys, we can't wait to be back and try something else. Everything looked great and I felt spoilt for choice. Bravissimi

Right after you are done eating a sandwich from here, or once you have made and savoured their pasta, you sort of slip into a heady, sweet bliss. And that's what good food is all about. It makes you full, and content, but still makes you yearn for more. Aemelia causes this jolly conflict, and all credit goes to Kip and Giada's craft and dedication. One could carry on waxing lyrically about the place. But insted I will thank them for making our life at Portobello that much more better. P.S: They have a sandwich loyalty card. Absolute must.

My partner and I were out in Portobello one Sunday morning a while ago around Easter time. After finishing what we came out there for we were walking around trying to find somewhere to get somethign for lunch. We saw a few people who had lined up outside this place and as someone was coming out after finishing their ourchase they could see we were contemplating whether to get in line or not. They encouraged getting in line, we said we'd never tried it before and they started encouraging us trying even more. We got it line and when it was our turn we ordered 2 of their "lambchetta" focaccias, one each, and also one of their porchetta ones to share and try out as both sounded absolutely incredible and we were getting quite hungry. When we were ordering, the person who served us even asked if we wanted a corner piece or a middle edge piece and I was so surprised at even being given the choice! I said corner piece and she ended up going out in the back to fetch a corner piece for us as there wasn't enough left in the front. She absolutely didn't have to do that, but we appreciate that she did. We got home and tried both of the focaccias and I can't lie, I've been thinking about them frequently ever since! I don't come out to Portobello often as it's quite a way away from where I live now and I don't drive, but I often consider figuring out what combination of busses I need to get to get out there because their food it truly incredible! If you're ever in the area and they have literally anything left for sale that day, definitely try it. It's incredible!

This place is a taste of Italy.. When we come home from Italy and feel sad..we order and collect. Highly recommended early orders as they sell out fast.. My family loves the pasta and the ragu. The Tortellini reminds us of the little take pasta place in Venice where go..nobody can beat nonna home cooking, but this is a close.. I live the insta posts of the making of the fresh pasta, the owners are so kind and friendly

Hear me out. I'm Italian, born in Bologna but lived most of my life in Rome. My mum used to take the train every Christmas up to Bologna to buy 5kg of handmade tortellini. I was about 10 years old and didn't get it, until I tasted them. I stumbled upon this place by chance walking in Portobello and bought some tortellini with broth to try at home, curious to see how they were. After the first spoonfull I almost cried at my childhood memories rushing back. They are THAT good. Go there and try what they have to offer, you will not regret it. 10/10

Amazing. Just had the nicest lunch of tortellini in chicken broth and the best focaccia. Perfect half portion for our 3 year old who loved it. Great value and thank you to the owners for being so kind and accommodating of our little one. Just lovely. Will be back!
