   Wok Star on Cathcart Road is a fantastic spot for a quick, delicious, and authentic Chinese meal. The food is consistently fresh, packed with flavour, and served in generous portions. The salt and pepper chips are an absolute must try! It's a classic no-frills takeaway, but the quality of the cooking and the friendly service make it a real local gem. Highly recommended for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

   Just had a chicken curry fried rice first time I have had a curry from wokstar the rice and curry sauce was very nice but the chicken was very tough I have had food in the past and it has been brilliant tad disappointed with it tonight

   Have been customer for years..all great until recently.months or so.I was given reheated dried out chicken balls..bbq ribs were so different (thin meat heavy bones)..having being good advocate in past for..(suppliers ? New?)..only few months since change..sadly until usual high standards return I won't order said dishes..please fix even curry seems ..thinner?wish best keep safe

   Mostly a very good, reliable take away that sells delicious food that arrives fairly quickly. Occasional issues with mix ups due to their online ordering systems. I do try to be understanding about these, and I've been a loyal customer for years to this location and their previous ownership of the former San Wah on Allison Street.

   loyal customer for years - food is fantastic and service amazing. why bother with any other chinese when you have wokstar !? never had a bad meal - even a just ok one from here. always fantastic. had a problem with my payment tonight and was swifty fixed and they added in some extra delicious food in my order free of charge. thanks so much i’ll be back supporting again the next time i want a take away !!
