   Lovely Italian food restaurant,nice n cosy place , friendly waiters , however the value for your £ , is as usual not there, big plates very small portions, food is eaten very quickly. Massive white bowl with small amounts of pasta it's a shame. I'd be reluctant to return on that basis, people want value for £.

   The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was prepared with care and full of flavor. A true hidden gem and definitely a top spot worth visiting!

   First class values throughout. Good food, brilliant service. Go visit you will not be disappointed. Update September 2025. Still superb food with beyond first class service from Pasquale helped by Aldo. La Vigna is such a change from the chain Italian restaurants like Prezzo. The kitchen has chefs and they are NOT short order chefs. So brilliant, food, service and atmosphere! PS the seats are comfortable.

   My husband and I had our 17th wedding anniversary lunch here today, the starters were amazing. The main course not as good. The service was good but while the server was topping up other people drinks, he never bothered to ask if we would like another drink, I had to ask him and the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. I would go back again and try some more dishes before I make a final decision.

   Just home from our 1st visit. Can't wait to return. Best food I've tasted in a long time. The mushroom pastry basket starter was so full of flavour, the smell as it reached the table was amazing. Hubby enjoyed the pate starter, and the chutney was superb. Both Fillet Steaks were cooked to perfection. I could have sat all night sampling the desserts. Unfortunately I only had room for 1, the creme brulee, did not disappoint. Both gentlemen waiters were very attentive and their recommendation of the house rose was spot on. We can't wait until our next visit. Enjoy your week off & we look forward to returning very soon.

   Celebrated my sons 30th birthday here in December 22. 6 of us enjoyed a superb meal in a relaxed and and warm atmosphere. From pre meal drinks through to after meal coffee it was excellent; the entire evening could not have been better. Great food, selection of wines and attentive, without being overbearing, service. Can’t wait to go back soon.

   1. The food was delicious and well presented - attentively served. 2. However, the child's plate contained spices, which are not really appropriate for children's dishes. 3.Our table location next to the kitchen was cramped with not a lot of good ambience. 4. The aroma of cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen where the Maitre D' was smoking was unacceptable for a no-smoking restaurant. 5. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would return - in a non smoking environment . . .

   Food was absolutely shocking especially the price aswell and the manager was not helpful and never cared about his customers I got a fillet steak apparently but tasted like two canned chewy burgers with 6 chips absolutely joke and charged 26.80 and was still absolutely starving would recommend people to go to China chef got a fried rice and curry sauce after this meal and it filled me up compared to this place and only paid £4 honestly absolute rip off
