   Being a snobby Mexican food lover from Chicago, I had cautious optimism for Bodega....and let me say, it was pretty damn good! We walked away very happy and will definitely be going back. The bbq sea bass, black bean dip and fish tacos were delicious!

   I was attracted by the place as I walked by one day, and decided to book a table for one. I was planning to only have two tacos but ended having 4, and they were tasty (a bit cold maybe) and very nice. Feels more like an interpretation of Mexican cuisine rather than authentic Mexican cuisine. I’d go back to try more things! I get why some people complain about the portion size, but for me it was alright (I don’t need too much to be filled).

   Another fabulous meal at Bodega. The wings are potentially the best we’ve ever had and the flavours in all the sauces and seasonings are on point and delicious. The fish dishes need improvement would be my only feedback. But the meal overall, service, drinks and atmosphere are excellent. (I am coeliac and can confirm it is a safe gf eating venue) Thank you, team at Bodega!

   We tasted 4 different tacos and they were excellent. Surprising combinations that we really enjoyed. It did take a long time for the tacos to come, but they communicated that it would take a bit longer than expected shortly after we were seated and offered a starter on the house to compensate for the wait. The waiters were very kind and the atmosphere is buzzing!

   food = WOW!! Amazing food, definitely want to go back. Fish tacos and ginger and lime cheesecake were the stars of the show. Only dislike is how small the margaritas - think they are far too expensive for what you get, and had better margaritas elsewhere.

   Fantastic spot for tacos on Leith Walk. Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is casual and fun. Interiors are really cool with muted shades and slick surroundings. A couple of beers on tap for drinking. Food is delicious. We had the guacamole with tortillas to start, and they gave us a delicious little “hot sauce” on the side that wasn’t too hot but sweet and smokey and a perfect accompaniment. Range of tacos covers everything you could possibly want without being overwhelming, and each is done to perfection. They recommend 2-3 dishes each so we got a plate of pork, beef, prawn, and chicken tacos. Each plate has two tacos on. Highlight for me was the chicken tacos — tender fried chicken, covered in a spicy sauce that packs a punch. Delightful place for lunch or dinner, go try it!

   Every dish was delightful (except the ceviche which I don’t enjoy in general) guacamole was very creamy, suppose they don’t spare the avocado. the portion of taco is small so it is recommended that one person order two dishes! (at least) the toppings on taco seemed like a new combination of tastes and I liked it very much.

   Fantastic tacos! I've been dying to eat here for so long and it certainly lived up to the expectation. Staff were friendly and food was swift. Would definitely recommend booking a table as even at opening time, the restaurant was packed. There are still screens between the tables, which was great given how many tables there were in the wee restaurant.
