Very tasty and generous portion sizes for the tacos. Good drinks list too. Will be back!

Glorious! Nipped into Antojito’s for the first time today, I ordered the Southern fried pins which was a pineapple finger in a southern fried breadcrumb with spices & the combination of flavours on offer were outstanding, accompanied by Elote Ribs which were corn ribs with spice & other bits & bobs & also the Papusa which was like a cheese filled potato pancake? Everything was delicious, the food arrived at the table within 10 minutes, although I never got a check-back on the table I think by the look on ma face & how fast I was tucking in the check-back wouldn’t have been necessary anyway, very impressed with this vegan take on Mexican cuisine, will be back soon to show family/friends.

The food is excellent and the service is very quick. All of this food is vegan but it is the best mexican food I have ever had! The tacos are extremely flavourful, I cannot get enough of the Seitan Barbacoa tacos, they are so tasty and refreshing. Just amazing. Smashed potatoes are my other favourite, little potatoes with a really nice and spicy sauce and lovely garnishes. I would recommend this food to anyone vegan or not.

Oh man! What an absolute foodgasm this place was! We went here for lunch and left real proud of how amazing vegan food can be! The corn/elote ribs were so juicy and tangy that we were disappointed we couldn't bite into and finish the cob too! The refried bean toastada was the less impressive counterpart. By itself, a nice small plate with handmade soft tacos, beans, guac and veggies but couldn't match up to the ribs. The Chilaquiles was by far the best dish! Soaked in Chipotle tinga and drizzled with avocado crema, this was sinful and luscious with each bite! We finished with Churros accompanied by vegan dulce-de-leche and though it tasted great, with great crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside texture of the churros, we felt it was a little less in quantity. If we ever go back to Glasgow, we will make sure to eat multiple meals at Antojitos - the cravings are real !

In Edinburgh for a visit. Lovely people and city, overall it’s been a great trip. We were looking forward to a long leisurely Sunday lunch at Antojitos. The restaurant was not open as advertised. Staff arrived as we were standing outside, entered and slammed the door in our faces. No words spoken. The restaurant shares space with a bar but the arrangement doesn’t seem to work. A total waste of time and money (taxi ride).

Good vibe here - Good alcohol choices - Food was tasty - tacos were great - however Elote (corn cob) was very small for £5 and the chilaquilles (bottom of the picture) are nothing like they are meant to be - take them off the menu or make them properly gracias

Looking at other reviews and photos; I really wanted to like this place. Customer service is greatly lacking. When I walked in, there was no welcoming, no greeting. I actually wandered a bit before I was acknowledged. The woman working seemed preoccupied with other tasks. It was literally, one other person in the restaurant/bar. I ordered the loaded nachos with Oaxacan chicken. Presentation was nice and the man/cook that brought it out to me was the only bit of warmth I felt in the place, maybe have him customer-facing. The nachos were alright, it could’ve used more toppings, more cheese. The ratio of toppings to chips was off. I was left with quite of bit of chips. If I have the opportunity to, I would give it another try. Maybe this was a really off day. The vibe was so bad.

Ordered not long before the kitchen closed. Unfortunately my guac and quesadillas were accidentally given to the neighbouring table. However the guy was very apologetic when he realised and threw in some free empanadas (after the kitchen closed) along with the rest of my food. It was all delicious (especially the guac) and the portions were decent (I had way too much with the empanadas and couldn't finish).

The spinach and feta taquitos were excellent as well as the jackfruit taco (I think we ordered the beer battered banana one but it was so good we didn’t mind!). Good-sized portions too. We ordered 3 small plates and 2 mains which was enough for 2 meals. We’ll be ordering from them again!
