The food is absolutely amazing, tacos are really well balanced in flavour and the pork melts in your mouth, absolutely brilliant nachos, lamb sandwich and chicken fajita sandwich. The owner was lovely and helpful in picking sauces with recommendations on what you should get depending on your spice tolerance, Highly recommended!
Fresh, flavourful at a very reasonable price. Ate chicken wings which where delicious and the tacos where good, asked for beef, got chicken. Regardless, it was banging. I would of been more upset but the chicken was next level. Wish this establishment was around when I was a student at HW. Looks like the gentleman has just recently started up in Galasheilds so finger cross it becomes popular with the locals. Interior/kitchen hopefully gets investment and a cleaning rota introduced then TACO has the potential to be thee place in Galasheilds. If you are out and about in Gala and get hungry then walk past Greg's and go straight to A taste of Mexico! The food is absolutely fantastic! The place has a community feel to it. It's great to eat knowing your supporting a local business. :)
Not a week goes by where I don't miss having a local taqueria, even in these cold and dark and rainy January days. I've even daydreamed about opening one but written it off due to incompatibility with Scotland's weather. Taco, however, has sussed it out. With its big windows on the corner of the block and musica tropicale, its reminiscent of nights spent dining outside in Mexico. Please support this establishment so that we may all enjoy some energising tacos and cooling agua fresca this summer.

Good location, right in town center Fantastic food and lovely service Main dishes for lunch and dinner as well as a breakfast menu with delicious breakfast burritos All dishes come in S M or L with lot's of meats and sauces to choose from Will definitely eat there again
Really love Mexican food and was super excited to finally be able to get Mexican food in town, however, the food I received wasn’t great and was a far cry from what I would have expected. I chose the tacos and they came in a box where everything looked as though it had been thrown around. The grease the had come from the food was so much that it had made the taco shells soggy. The taco shells that hadn’t succumbed to the sogginess were stale and chewy and weren’t pleasant. The meat was okay, but was very spicy and quite tough to eat. I think it would have been nicer if there was less spice. There was also the most minuscule tub of guacamole for 3 tacos. An amount I’d expect for perhaps just one taco as well as no other condiments you’d expect with tacos. I always give a place a second chance when I have a negative experience but this was the same both occasions. All in all, I was highly disappointed and for the price I paid I’d have expected a lot more and better quality.
