I have purchased delicasies from La Pastina Deli on several occasions and have always given outstanding reviews as my purchases were delicious. However, today I purchased 3 cakes which I am never disappointed with, what annoyed me was the member of staff who was uninterested in helping me with my choice. She did ask if I would like her to cut the 2 cakes in question to see what fillings were in them which I thought was a nice gesture. To my horror, when she cut them she placed a piece in her mouth told me the filling, Another member of staff came out and asked if she was cutting both cakes, I, in turn said that I thought it was for me, the customer, she did not even give a lift of her head. She proceeded to do cut the 2nd one and again, placed the piece of cake in her mouth, not even asking if I would like to try them. In fact she stood matter of factly with the knife in her hand as if to say well what one do you want, I didn't buy any of them but proceeded to purchase others which I knew would be lovely see photo attached. She has certainly put me off from shopping in here in future if this is the type of service that I would be receiving in future.

Came across this place while getting a takeaway from the next shop and the sandwich here …. Mmmm mmmmmm… so yummmm! The £5 sandwich menu caught my eye and wow! My order is focaccia bread with chicken breast, Italian relish, salad and smoked cheese and it’s delicious.( the actual product has salami… I just ask them to replace it for me and the staffs are kind enough). Definitely worth! So filling and yum! They also have an amazing collection of delicious bakes!

Popped in for a few of their on menu sandwiches today as I'm working across the road and was absolutely stuffed after it, as was my friend. Really good quality meats and lots of choice if you want to go custom which I will be next time.

Have to say one of the most friendliest deli’s in Glasgow. Ross could not do enough when I was arranging cakes for my mums birthday. Tbh all the staff are lovely. You truly will not be disappointed with the cakes they have to offer and maybe take a day or two to come off the ceiling they are that good. Thank you to all the staff once again you made a special lady very happy

This place is a magnificent gem near the Glasgow uni! They make unbelievable good cannoli and for a very good price! All items are handmade by the staff themselves, they taste fresh! Came back another day to try their brownies and not only they are massive but they are incredibly tasty as well! I cannot recommend them enough! 5/5 all around!

Good selection of brownies which is what attracted me. I tried the triple chocolate. £3.50 for a giant brownie was good value to me. It had a firmer chewier consistency, and whilst it was good I’d give it about a 7 or 8 out of 10 as there was slightly strange taste to it I’m assuming from the cocoa powder used, just not my ideal taste. The female staff member touches all items with food gloves but was using same gloves on sandwiches then touching my stuff with same gloves-might be an issue for cross contamination?

Cannot rate John and his team high enough! We have just hosted an intimate Christmas event and everyone was blown away, We had a few dietary requirements and they were met with no problem at all. Portions were more than generous so much so that we have plenty of left overs and that's with us offering our clients some goody bags away with them! So impressed, thanks again guys

Epic sandwiches, delicious deli boxes, an amazing ragù, and don't get me started on the pistachio cannoli! Great stop for all your Italian produce with an impressive choice of meats and cheeses at the deli counter. Current favourite sandwich is the Spicy Hog... knockout!!

Just left the deli but won't be back. Overpriced for a very uninteresting sandwich. Feel a bit diddled. It was the vegan bloomer and the bologna one. The vegan bloomer was just lacking in flavour and content and my son had the bologna and said just ok but for £21 for 2 sandwiches in a paper bag and 2 cappuccinos in a paper cup, it didn't cut it.
