Not sure why this place has the odd bad review, been going for years, food is always great and the owner is lovely!! never had any problems.
Use to be really good terrible now order a salt (very greasy )chilli chips, rice Singapore noodles I couldn’t eat it in the bin waste of money.Nothing compares to the previous owner CHEFS AVOID MCDONALD JUST ALONG THE ROAD !!! That’s where I’m going now even if it’s not very healthy still very tasty.
We ordered a delivery at 6:10 PM on Thursday the 30th and it arrived after calling and texting at 9:10pm after being told it would arrive before 7pm And the food was cold Disgusted with this takeaway Would recommend NOT giving it any trade, we will never use it again
So utterly poor, no answer from landlines, and then I get three missed calls from a random mobile number. Been past this place hundreds of times and only decided to give it a chance as the Hung wai is shut at the moment. No thanks.
I don't understand some of the negative reviews, but my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. I can recommend the beef fried rice, the beef in black bean sauce. The salt and chilli chips were also excellent - they were v crispy (though it helps I picked it up fresh and was eating at home within 5 mins, they may get soggy if they stream in the box during a delivery)
Hadn't ordered here for a long time since they changed hands - used to love Loon Wah so thought we'd give it another chance but it was the same story, awful. All the food's gone completely downhill. When we called to complain they weren't interested to hear anything about it. Real shame as they used to be the best Chinese around..
Been going to this take-away for years. Still amazing and prices very competitive. Portion size huge.
Chicken fried rice OK but deep fried shredded chicken very tough, felt like it was just batter no chicken and nearly broke my teeth. Don't think ill be ordering again
Got a special chop suey absolutely disgusting tasted like sweet and sour sauce had noodles thru it which the dish should not have only tried a spoonful wouldn't give me a refund and will not be going back ever again and recommend not going here lucky I give it 1 star
There rice tastes like grit, curry tasted like curry sauce mix from supermarket. Chips taste like night befores, ribs are all fat and cut small, chicken tastes like gristle. Can’t cook, Don’t cook
