Super nice brewery with a wide selection of beers on taps. The place is completely full of people by the time we left around 7:30pm. You can tell it’s a place loved by the locals. If you’re into tasting different beers like we do, highly recommend to drop by this place.
I have been travelling to Edinburgh frequently. Decided to try to find a dedicated GF place and was shocked to see a brewery and restaurant that is GF. The place is fantastic, beer excellent (I will be ordering delivery for Xmas), food was Oktoberfest based, and was really good. I will definitely come back, every time I visit Edinburgh.
Such a great wee taproom! Great drinks selection, fab atmosphere with good choons, lovely outside space and the Naughty Boi burgers were class. A real hidden gem!
Bellfield Brewery, you have my heart. The atmosphere was already lovely, but we happened to visit on quiz night, which made it even more fun and lively. The beer selection was great, the staff were absolutely lovely, and the whole vibe was just spot on. When we went, there was a guest kitchen running — a burger place — and we tried the Oklahoma Burger. It was so good I couldn’t resist getting a second one! Out of the four nights we spent in Edinburgh, we dedicated one to Bellfield, and we’re so glad we did. It was one of the most memorable evenings of the trip. Next time I’m in Edinburgh, this will be right at the top of my list to revisit.
Bought my husband brewery tour tickets for his birthday. We've been to yours in Copenhagen (Carlesberg) and Amsterdam (Heineken) but wasn't sure to expect with a smaller craft brewery. The tour was great, the best part being the tour guide Gordon who could answer all of our questions and, for me, this is what made it. He was very approachable and knowledgeable, happily sharing information and local tips with the group. We had tasters at the end, with the group which was a great way to finish it off. I'd really recommend to anyone who wants to find out a wee bit more about the craft beer process but also to find out more about the local/Edinburgh craft beer scene. A good way to spend an afternoon.
We came for a brewery tour and tasting. Gordon led our tour and was very knowledgeable and balanced the tour with technical info and a bit of humour. Perfect day out.
been itching to try this place for months because I love their beer so much - and we weren’t disappointed! lovely outdoor area and great food (the vendors change weekly I believe - this weekend was don guero taqueria) brilliant service too despite it being a sunny evening during the weekend - can’t wait to come back :)
