We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it became one of our favourite experiences during our Edinburgh trip. The food was outstanding, the wine pairings were thoughtfully chosen, and the genuinely warm staff made the evening feel truly special. You’re not treated like paying customers, but like personal guests - and it shows.
A very pleasant spot. The wine selection is excellent and thoughtfully put together. The dishes are cosy, flavourful, and nicely filling.Service was exceptional - friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. Overall, a solid experience and definitely worth a visit.
This was by far, the BEST meal we had any where in Scotland. The curated menu with exceptional quality made us want to stay all night. The owners were knowledgeable, helpful and warm. I left with a new favourite white wine, a new favourite cheese and the hopes I can return soon. Thank you for hosting us
My lovely and I went in for dinner and the chef claimed they are famous for the angus lasagna so there we went. Oh my. I believe the chef has created a new religion based on the dish. Spectacular! The service was marvelous and elegant for a small place - big stature. Our first Scottish restaurant meal was sooo memorable.
A charming mix of old world charm with modern day simplicity of food and wine. The service from the staff has always been informed and friendly.....a taste of rose port, a first! led to a happy purchase of the entire bottle from their Italian produce shop....a case of trying before I bought!
Absolutely fantastic!! This is a hidden gem in edinburgh that everyone should know about! My partner and I were given a voucher for dinner and it was one of the best meals we have ever had! Staff were beyond amazing! Can’t wait to come back for more! Thank you One 20 for the best night celebrating our engagement!
A super cozy place serving non-trivial Italian food & wine at reasonable prices. They do have an extensive wine list, but only serve a small subset of that by the glass (all Italian). Very welcoming staff. Would be happy to be back
Fantastic dinner - extensive wine list organized by region at various price points, including some options by the glass rather than bottle. The atmosphere was lovely as you can see the kitchen and watch the chefs prepare food and there are various ingredients etc for sale. The staff was lovely and the food was incredibly delicious!
