Worst food ive had, inedible went straight in the bin AVOID at all cost, very poor quality would have took it straight back if if I wasn’t so far away AVOID
We have tried every Chinese in the area and almost gave up trying to find a decent. Chinese curry. After being out and myself and partner saying no to each place because we've tried before, we hadn't tried golden star yet so thought we'd give it a go and glad we did curry is delicious, best food in the area by far, we will become regulars now❤️ We where out at the pub so put in delivery notes to please leave food at door as we weren't home, we got home hours later and the food was still warm!! Highly recommend
I live really close to The Golden Star Chinese Takeaway but have never ordered from here until 2 weeks ago. I was very impressed with the service I received from phone order to collection. The staff were lovely, accurate and efficient. My order was ready on time and because our order was large we were given a some extra spring rolls along with our order. I would definitely recommend this Chinese takeaway.
Best Chinese in Glasgow. Salt and chilli chips are the best you can get.
Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. It was watery, bland and greasy. Salt and Pepper chips were alright but not great. Everything was cold. Terrible experience.
Bought meal deal for 1 cost increased to 10 pounds 4 little bits of spare ribs chicken noodle soup lacked chicken and rather tasteless chicken curry just about passable not a great experience shop constantly putting up prices maybe they should raise the quality to justify such increases in price
I went to this Chinese for quickness as it is just round the corner from me and was the worst decision I ever made. It doesn’t even deserve one star. I got a chicken fried rice and paid £7.10 and £1 for a can of IRN-BRU that was from a multipack which I could have bought for the price of their fried rice. The chicken was nothing other than disgusting and the curry sauce could have made me sick. Avoid at all costs!
Normally I would give a 5 star but not today. The Singapore fried rice was awful £7.50 for rice with very little meat. This is very unusual I'm a regular customer at least 3 times a week . I pay good money for my food and this is unacceptable.
