This ramen spot has a really nice atmosphere and a friendly, welcoming staff that makes you feel comfortable right away. The ramen itself is good tasty and satisfying, though not mind-blowing. The chicken curry was flavorful and definitely worth trying. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting if you’re in the area and looking for a cozy meal.

Stopped by Ramen Dayo to escape the rain. I got a bowl of their Sansho Pepper Ramen, £13.90 and a couple of sides: Gyoza 7pc, £7.90 and chicken Karaage, £9.50. The broth had great flavour, rich and spicy with a tingly kick from the sansho pepper. The noodles were cooked perfectly, with a lovely chew that soaked up the broth beautifully. The chicken karaage had a crispy coating, but the inside was disappointingly dry. Thankfully, the sauces on the side were good and carried the dish—they were defo needed to drench the chicken. The gyoza were a highlight. Love a good steamed dumpling, and these were class and as good as any I’ve tried. Overall, despite the karaage being a bit of a letdown, the ramen and dumplings made this a nice hearty meal, just what was needed for this wet wintry day! I rate this meal: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . . . Lovely interiors and very friendly staff. Service was also very quick despite the restaurant being full which is always great. The vegan tantanmen ramen was good, but not the best I’ve had in Glasgow.

We are Day 1 fans of Ramen Dayo, way back when they first opened in Queen Street. Their 16hr ramen bone broths are unbeatable. Very family friendly too! They have private dining rooms in the basement too! See our full video review on our experience under The Olive Tree Family on all social media platforms.

Superb restaurant! Very friendly service, and the whole vibe of the restaurant really hearkens back to ramen shops in Japan with the aesthetic. Ramen was great (maybe needs a little more depth in the broth) but the standout was the chicken karagee with kewpie mayo. Definitely recommend checking them out.

What an amazing add to Finnieston Strip! Amazing food. Good individual portions but also good for snacking and sharing food from starters. Nice and attentive service! Was greeted by friendly manager who made our experience even better with her accommodating skills. Delicious cocktails! Can’t wait to be back!
