Very good food! If you’re looking for an Indian restaurant to sit in or takeaway from in the Yate/Chipping Sodbury this is the place to go! Lamb was tender and chicken even more so! We really enjoyed it and we it’s safe to say we found our regular Indian takeaway! Although, when ordering onion bahjee, it’s 2 not one, may need to make that a little clearer moving forwards, or rookie error on my behalf

Found this place after attending a music event in Chipping Sodbury and what a find; a first class restaurant. The Indian food was some of the best we've eaten, so fresh and tasty. Not swamped in sauces as can so often be the case. Just faultless. Service was fast and the staff were friendly. Honestly cannot wait to return.
This was, quite simply, the worst meal I have ever eaten. The restaurant was cold so we had to put coats over our legs, the portions were small and so incredibly tasteless I could not really tell what I was eating and the service was rushed. For £22 we had some rice, a bowl of ‘curry’ ( my veggie dish actually tasted like a jar of sweet and sour sauce with a potato and a green bean thrown in), some naan, an onion bhaji that looked like it had done 3 rounds with a deep fat fryer and a sliced orange. Really??! Unbelievable, inedible and unpleasant. Do not touch with a barge pole.
Without a doubt this was the worst food I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. The restaurant was cold, so we kept our coats over our legs. My friends vegetarian curry looked and tasted like a bag of frozen veg was microwaved with some Lloyd Grossman stir in sauce, the onion bhaji tasted like it was on its 3rd round in the fat fryer and my lamb korma was just all kinds of wrong. The set menu for £22 consisted of rice, 1 dish, half a nan bread and an onion Bhaji, finished off with 1 cut up orange between 12 people! If it wasn’t for the fact I was on a staff do I would have walked.
If I could give the Tudor Raj 0 stars I would, been here numerous times in the past and not had any problems. Ordered some food this evening - 50 minute wait, collect food to find 2 x chicken bhuna’s not even quarter of the way full in the pot with 3 pieces of chicken in each, £20… I think not. Rang them, didn’t want to know so drove back to the restaurant and took it back in, extremely rude and disrespectful to my fiancé and they told her they were too busy to sort it out and cook two more bhunas for us! Looks like it will be the curry house in Rangeworthy from now on! Disgusting, rude, arrogant man who dealt with us when we went back in, should be ashamed of your customer service.
This place was a joy. We had an early table at 6.45pm. It was nice and quiet. On recommendation I tried the Joypur Signature dish in the lamb varient. The flavours were incredible. It was the best curry I remember. The nearly 7ft main waiter dude was such a nice character and very engaging. The price was a little higher than we’ve paid recently but the outstanding food was worth the extra £6 a head in my opinion.
