   Was looking for something local for dinner and curry mahal did not disappoint! Ordered to collect from restaurant, the owner was welcoming and chatty as we waited to our order. We got and jalfezi and shatkora which was so flavourful and unique, explains why it’s the owner’s favourite. Only regret was not sitting in, we definitely be back!

   We were staying in Bath with friends for a couple of nights and we found this great place. This is a family run restaurant where they actually care about the food they serve! Although they have a drink license they allow you to bring your own wine! Nice touch. Food was excellent - probably the best Curry we have eaten. Portions were huge! Onion Bhajis were the size of tennis balls. The owner was great with us and offered advice on food choice and was keen to know more about our visit. Very friendly restaurant with wonderful food we will be back!

   Rice good ,prawn curry the worst ever …looked an tasted like a tasteless oily greasy consommé. Went in bin along with £35 for 2 .

   The staff were so friendly that I feel a little guilty giving only 2 stars. There is a bit of a run down feel in the establishment. The food was quite greasy, the naan in particular. Never had so much grease on my hands after eating one. The chicken in the jalfrezi was a bit hard, and again it was quite greasy. Considering how much it cost, this was disappointing.
