Filthy dirty, seats are sticky and covered in food, tables are so disgusting that you wouldn't want to put your plate/drink on them. Won't be coming back!
Some might remember the biblical story of how Jesus fed the 5000. In a more modern scenario I found myself behind someone who seemed to be feeding the 5000 by ordering from this cafe. The order was completed and the disorganised staff struggled to get it right - the result being a wait of truly biblical proportions for everyone further back in the queue. The food is ok and inexpensive though so there's that I guess.
Decent food for a decent price. Definitely somewhere to go if you have a little one. By far better than Morrisons and Asdas cafe and slightly better than Sainsbury’s. Staff have always been nice but at times they seem understaffed and stressed which makes you feel slightly guilty for being there.

Had breakfast delivered...for over £6 the portion siz is disgusting its mote suitable for a small child. I've had a £1 microwave breakfast before that was bigger and better quality. The bacon was tough..the toast didn't look like it seen a toaster the egg was overcooked and hard and it was all stone cold. Hasbriwns only decent thing in box but was soaked in butter due to butter sachet put in box that was melted to liquid.
The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are superb.
I often come here as due to the nature of my job I am often in Yate and needing to grab food. It is just getting progressively worse. I have on 2 separate occasions had to request a refund as they are not able to cook a breakfast consisting of 1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 rasher of bacon & 2 hash browns in under 30 minutes. I got a breakfast here again today as I was on an hour lunch break, it came in a reasonable time however the toast was dropped onto my table (no offer of a replacement) and the food had definitely been microwaved. Everything had that scorching hot rubbery texture. The sausage was so soft that the knife just squished it down rather than cut it. I paid £9 for a “breakfast” and a coffee. You’re better off in the Wetherspoons down the road. Their breakfast is delicious and always fresh and only cost £8 with a pint of orange juice. You also get double the amount of food. Absolute joke Tesco. Also the cleanliness here is a real issue too.
All day breakfast served all day... lies... kitchen shuts early... typical no competition either... junk food or greggs... so no food for me today.
An hours delay for food!! 4 adults and 3 small children. Nothing major just sausage, chips and beans for the little ones. One serving arrived after 35 mins, 2nd 20 minutes later and the third children’s meal not at all (after mentioning several times). How can you NOT prepare/cook 3 children meals at the same time astounds me!! Try explaining and keeping a 4 year old patient while everyone’s food arrived - eventually, but not his own. The staff even saw us ‘sharing’ the other little ones chips who had become upset waiting. The adults meal’s too, again nothing major, jacket potatoes and wraps - delivered intermittently. Drinks were long gone before the food arrived. Staff sullen and rude. The ‘manageress’ useless - in fact we got the impression she was hiding behind the scenes instead of dealing with the matter. This cafe at Tesco’s Yate isn’t ever the fastest, but today they put themselves to shame in their lack of service/rudeness. SHAME ON YOU TESCO, YATE. PS only star given because that’s the only way to comment. Personally undeserved, should be a minus in there. PPS I don’t expect a response.
Worst breakfast. Beans burnt egg burnt nothing was hot vile never eating there again
