Really enjoyable vegan options but really loud and very brightly lit which meant we didnt want to stay too long after eating. Also added a service charge to our bill which we had to ask to be taken off as it was just incredibly rude. This isn't the dystopia of America, please pay your staff, after all... You charge enough for your food and drink!
A bit disappointing. Not only was the Guinness nothing to write home about but the overall vibe was a bit dull. Yes they shot the „pub scene“ in trainspotting there but that’s really all to say about this establishment.
Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat. Ambience was nice not too loud and comfortable seating both inside and out. Decent Guinness served as well
10/10 service, food and atmosphere. My partner and I absolutely love the Brewhaus. We have had various food from the menu and it has all been absolutely amazing. It is worth a visit if you are nearby. Prices are reasonable too. Big shout out to one of the owners Magnum for making us feel so comfortable, we are just normal plain people and he made sure to look after us. Legend!
This place is amazing. I've been wanting to go there because of the movie, and I had such a great surprise to see what a nice place it has become. Many delicious food options, cold draft beer, and the wonderful decorations, specially the ceiling - I just loved it all. Service is also top notch, the team is always friendly and welcoming. It's the perfect place to go with friends or even on a date. On the mezzanine they have a pool table, and I saw that they do quiz nights and also happy hours with discounts for food and drinks. I'm looking forward to going back. Their Instagram page has many great videos too.
Home of the infamous Begbie glass scene. Stumbled into this place by pure chance having only read an article on the pub about a week or so ago. In for a few beers but could have stayed all day. Michael the barman was engaging. Big screen TV's should you want to watch the game. Beer garden too which I look forward to visiting in summer. Decent collection of beers on draught. Liked the Spaten which is one often found on Perfect draught. Food looked good although we never ordered anything on this occasion.
It’s quirky and dog friendly. Maybe less of a focus on quality ale than the name suggests. Pizzas and burgers amongst some bargain lunch offers. Barman was super friendly and the decor is fab. Also has a mezzanine for events and a beer garden for the summer
Loved the pub due to its trainspotting history but 3 stars due to them not having commentary on the TVs for the football due to a party upstairs. The pub was packed out for the football! Really ruined the atmosphere. Would not go back here to watch sports ever again. Food was nice and reasonable price. Staff were very nice but really should have prioritised the majority. The funny thing was, as soon as the football finished a DJ (not associated with the party) started absolutely blasting tunes and the bar staff were fine with it.
Loved this place, from the variety of beer to the over the top portion sizes be back soon.
I can’t say enough good things about the staff at BrewHaus! They are always so friendly and lovely. We come in with our friends and dogs all the time and they always make us feel welcomed! Good food, good drinks and lovely people, what more could you ask for.
