I rarely eat fish and chips, but when I do is always from Parky’s. The stuff is always lovely and friendly. Food great and service amazing.
Speedy service in a busy shop, marvalous selection, good food. But what really counts is that they serve PICKLED EGGS!!!
We arrived a leetle bit battered after 6 pints of Gold. We sauced a couple of cod’s, a large bag of chipped potatoes, mushy peas and an IRISH curry source. We both chipped in £12 each and had a feast fit for kings. The bag was handed over with a wink and a cheeky smile;) they were a chip off the old block. What more could you ask for? Cod knows! It was a great plaice. Only negative was lacked a bit of atmosphere.
Best chippy in Thornbury! There is pretty much always a massive queue outside this place as it’s so popular- the wait is worth it though! I love the cheese burger and chips with their curry sauce. Portions are huge and everyone’s always so friendly when you go in!
Outstanding fish and chips by any standard anywhere. Staff were amazing too. Ringing endorsement by customers who form a queue outside the front door half an hour before the shop opens. Cod was huge, thick, juicy, batter was perfect, chips also. Will be back - probably too often.
Good value. Great taste. Fantastic staff working quickly efficiently on a manic Xmas Eve queue as t.other chippie in town was already closed. Brilliantly happy first time customer.

Pretty good food. Decent selection. Reasonable prices. Polite and friendly service. Can be big queues at busy times and if it's raining outside its not great but on the whole it's good.
Tasty well priced food and great, friendly service. All freshly cooked, nice batter that's not too greasy, nice chips too. I made a mistake with my order, which they were very understanding about and changed at no extra cost. Allow time for queuing as they're understandably busy. Please use the car park round the corner and don't park on the double yellow lines; they're there for people's safety.
