Ordered for the first time today, curry goat with rice and peas, very very disappointed, goat was nice and tender but absolutely tasteless. Wasted money as food went in the bin. Won't order again.
Individually the food was ok. Got no salad or steamed veg with rice when it was supposed to come with it but the biggest issue was no sauce for rice at all, so basically 3 small bits of chicken and dry rice for a tenner, seems mad. Festivals undercooked but I didn’t order them anyway, my dumplings never came. A lot of food but couldn’t eat it without dying of indigestion because it was dryer than the sahara.
Roy the delivery for redz the driver startedd getting aggressive near enough instantly asking me if this is 17 then i stated clearrly 17 is in my door here then he said are you getting rude to me my son witnessed such sn unprofressional man and an aggressave one for no apparent reason and also demanding my name aswell disscracful a to top it off it was cold portion for large was what i would feed my son the rice and pea oh my that qas a joke and jwrk sauce that taste likw curry sauce if if i wanted chinese i would of ordered itfor 25 pound saomething a absolute rip off
If I could give a zero rating I would! I ordered "fried chicken" with rice and peas. When it arrived the rice was cold. The chicken had no coating on it and looked like it had been fried in a deep fat fryer. It was absolutely tasteless too and pink inside! I rang the restaurant to complain only to be met with a patronising man telling me " we don't use a deep fat fryer love" and that if I had an issue that its Deliveroos fault, not theirs! Terrible food and equally as terrible customer service!! Don't waste your money ordering from here!!
Ordered Curry Goat, rice & peas and some festivals. The delivery was speedy, the food was fresh & piping hot. Although it was a bit more expensive than others the food was delicious. Do not rush this food as it tastes better after every mouthful. The rice was fluffy, the salad was fresh. The goat melted in my mouth & was fine quality. It was one of the nicest curry goat that I've had & seasoned perfect with fresh herbs. I would order from them again as I have used them a few times & it's always been good.
2 items missing. Phoned restaurant to facilitate the delivery of the missing items. The service lady was rude and aggressive and refused to take note of the delivery address I was trying to provide, saying it would take between 2-3 hours to deliver. Having provided the address and postcode numerous times it became apparent the restaurant was simply refusing to deliver the order. I explained I would simply leave a bad review and request a refund through Deliveroo. The restaurant informed me that if I left a bad review they would simply complain and get the website to take it down. Very mature. Deliveroo have issued a refund thankfully and have taken note of the problems experienced. The food that did arrive was extremely poor. The driest, under seasoned jerk chicken I’ve ever ever eaten. Bought in patties as opposed to home made too. All the family very disappointed and hungry. Order at your own risk. There are many better Caribbean takeaways in Bristol.
