I ordered a Chicken Naga for collection. Supposedly extra hot Naga chilli but hardly even spicy. Too much salt made it really unpalatable. Truly terrible.
I hate leaving bad reviews as a business owner myself I hate the negativity, but in this instance it's justified. Service was good, but the food awful. Worst jalfrezi I've ever had. Basically some stewed lamb chucked in base sauce. No peppers or chili or onion. Literally just some base sauce with tiny lamb bits. Restaurant was completely empty the entire meal. Explains why!
Had a meal with the family. 6 of us arrived at 19:30. The place was freezing cold (which I can understand during the current climate). Ordered starters and mains at the same time and it took over an hour and 40mins for it to come out. The place wasn't busy as there were 6 others in there and 2 had already had their food. The starters were okay but when the mains arrived it was luke warm at best. One of the dishes was heavily salted and inedible. They seem to prioritise telephone/app orders rather than people who physically make the effort to come to the restaurant. I won't be going again
Not enjoyed at all, no flavours or smell, chicken tikka curry was sooo sweet like they added a bag of sugar in it. Not ordering again. Waste of money
Just had a delivery and the food was lovely, delivery a little later than expected but it is a Sat eve so not too bothered by that, had special mixed Masala, it was fantastic, full of flavour, other half had a madras and said it was nice, will definitely be ordering again
The restaurant is neat and clean .If you are looking for kerala dishes, I prefer Dev kerala than this .
Cosy, busy place, full bar, but most importantly though, pretty good food at a good price (2x rice, 2x curry, 1x side, 1x naan, poppadoms, 1x beer, 1x coke £36 ish).
