    Beware the differing pricing, and dodgy waiting furniture. Having just sat in one of their chairs, it instantly fell apart, leaving me half sat on the floor, and half supporting myself. To then hear one of the staff say, oh it had done that before, did not fill me with confidence, and neither did watching the chap who was doing the frying, pushing it back together again, without the PVA glue it really needed. Then the pricing behind the staff doesn't seem to match what the till says, and when its pointed out, they dont care. Oh the prices have gone up, pointing to the bit of A4 stuck to the wall next to me, ignoring the signage I'm pointing at behind her, isn't good customer service. I will say the chips were nice, but the service was poor.

    Just had cod and chips c3 and when opening up was all wet with oil. The batter had stuck to the paper and come off when picking up. The fish inside was very nice as was the chips but the packaging ruined what could have been better. Please dont put the fish all together allowing the oil to run all over the others. The small piece of greaseproof paper was not sufficient as this did not absorb any of the excess grease.

    Such a lovely team. They cooked chips to accompany our wedding meal in July. These were all ready on time, hot, delicious and curry sauce was added in. Many many thanks - very happy guests and couple :)

    Best fish and chips in Bristol. We used to be regulars and the staff were always friendly and the portions are amazing. Pretty cheap too compared to most. The Chicken nuggets are elite. We now live in Stoke Gifford and nothing compares, :(

    Absolutely love this place, easily the best fish and chips in Bristol and extremely generous portion sizes too. The only gotcha is they are cash only, thankfully there is a cashpoint nearby.

    Was in a rush after trying to pick up a prescription for my poor old dad who's on end of life care at home went in ordered within 10 minutes out fantastic service by the gentleman who served me he actually cheered me up with his conversation and nice smile I'll be definitely visiting them from now on 11/10 lol
