"The" vegan option in the Buddha bowl. Great in theory but really small portions (3 little strips of protein, maybe 30g total!), bland, and expensive for what it is.

eat well for less is now 25% more expensive than it used to be, for much much worse food. often undercooked, exclusively vegan, pasty, mushy etc. ive given it more than enough chances.

This is quite a sad place for university. The food is below average, the price is mind blowing for student. Please consider other food provider in the campus. I have come to this canteen so many times and trying the new thing everyday hoping to find a match but no. Ended up with my last meal which is mushroom soup that so very salty. My suggestion to all student is to pack lunch.

Far too expensive for a university kitchen, used to have free tea and coffee (only cheap stuff) now they charge for it, also hot food prices are increasing and portion sizes aren’t generous at all. The sandwiches are like £4 which is again poor. Should be helping students not making it more difficult for them. Also charging for farty disposable cups is just OneZone being greedy, literally no where barely ever does this in Bristol Staff are nice though, usually students I think? It’s all £££ driven

Update: Lowered the rating as now I have been a few times, and the price went up £2 for a main meal. 1st meal started 6.30, each day it went up. My last meal was 7.45. In general, the food isn't good. The beef roast was good, though. The ladies do not know how to cut meat because every time I went they don't cut a slice. They cut like a quarter of a slice and then give me tiny little crumbs. The sauces are not good, they are like water and gross. Sauce is 50p on top and they put it over your food... I had to tell them that they did not give me vegetables before she looked and said, "Oh yeah, sorry," and giving me what was supposed to be on the dish. Service is very slow... you can see a queue but the staff stand behind one counter and not the others. The knife I got was filthy, like covered in chocolate, so you couldn't use it. When I pay, I never get a receipt... and sometimes have to tap several times (as staff says) and check later to sort out double payments. Original: Food is edible... could be better, especially for £7+ meals. Service is OK, and the atmosphere is just very busy as full of people. I got Lasagne, and it was really salty...... like really salty..... Vegetarian dishes looked better

Overpriced food. Breakfast was cold. Not sure how this is good for student welfare. University should ensure good value and quality. Rip off which you. Unsurprising when you have a cornered market.

Very poor quality, basic canteen food cooked in bulk and sold for much more than it should be. £3.50 for a spoonful of overcooked pasta bake that had a homogeneous, mushy consistency and really didn't taste of anything. The quality is just too low to justify the price.

To be honest, I haven't tried their foods because it's a bit expensive for me. However, it's organised well. Everytime I go there with my friends, it's busy with people. So I recommend it. Also, there's 'espressomaths' session (every week days 12:00- 14:00) on the corner of one zone, for students who need help with mathematics :)

Seating is ok although often busy. Food is nice and a lot of variety although a bit expensive for students. The Starbucks is always busy but serves a range of hot drinks and snacks, however it's cheaper and just as nice to get a coffee in the canteen
