Visited her on a Sunday afternoon with my husband. The restaurant is lovely and old inside. Very pretty. It also has a garden overlooking the river. The food was delicious. Service was very good.
Very enjoyable meal at this local winner. Great food and service from a family restaurant that’s been here for a while. Nice location too by the bridge & castle for an after dinner walk.
Had a such lovely delicious lunch with a friend at this cozy restaurant. Has such an amazing location, very cozy nice decoration inside and really enjoyed sitting outside at the terrace over looking the river with the bridge. The waitress were all amazing, super friendly, attentive and excellent service through our our visit. We had starters and pizza, the pizza were delicious, large and well prepared and good arrived fresh and hot. Followed by the ice cream mix which was huge. Thank you very much for such lovely meal and excellent service. Highly recommend. You could park at castle or drill car parks, reservation highly recommended if you would like to have the tables at the terrace.
Nice good size Italian restaurant by the river. There's limited tables overlooking the river and it gets very busy over the weekend so booking is advisable. Service is good and the ambiance is nice. Food is nice and shows gf or vegetarian options clearly on the menu. Can sit in the front garden but it overlooks a road.
Gorgeous food, nice portion and professional services. Definitely the best Italian and seafood restaurant in Chepstow and nearby. Will definitely come again. Many thanks to Ellie, Fil, Lani, Josh's hearty services tonight!
What a gem this place is. I knew the place must be good when I was told the only tables they had here were outside at 7:30 pm on a Tuesday. That’s when other places were closed due to lack of business. The fact was it was not really outside but a fully covered area with heaters. So very comfortable to eat in. Staff were very friendly and covered all questions. Service was fast as well. I had the lobster ravioli with prawns and mussels and it was superb. In fact the best I have had in quite a while. Upon the bill I was offered a free Lemonchello , which was a nice touch. A really nice restaurant and I would highly recommend. Only minus is as far as I could see there was no parking. Apart from the public car park 1 min up the road. On the plus that’s free between 6pm and I think 8am so no charge if out for an evening meal.
Had a nice time in Panevino. The food and drinks menus are big enough to have plenty to choose from, and the food was quality when it arrived. Free tasty breadsticks too. Inside is clean and the aesthetic is bright and fresh. It looks onto the river so if you book ahead you'll be able to secure yourself a riverside terrace table. Had to take off a star due to the warmth - both in the air and in my drink. Aircon is a must these days! Still I'd go back there, no doubt. Just book ahead, cos there were plenty of rejected walk-ins.
Fantastic food - compliments to the chef when they can take the simplest ingredients and make them sing. We had the carbonara and lasagna, both meals were of great quality, sauce was seasoned well and spaghetti had bite. For dessert, the tiramisu and New York Cheesecake, fantastic. Well done, will definitely come back when we’re next back in Chepstow.
The food , staff and location 10/10. Food is well prepared and fresh . Staff very attentive,polite and pleasant. Both inside and outside of the restaurant are very cosy and suitable for any occasion . Having sat outdoors, the lovely view of the nature and the bridge just added extra points to this lovely experience. I'd choose this Italian restaurant over any other Italian restaurant I've been to ! Most definitely the one to return to !
