   We had our first experience at Truffled today and it definitely won’t be our last. From the minute that we arrived until the minute that we left we had such a great experience! The food was 10/10 and the friendly and welcoming service was just spot on. Tim is not only an amazing chef, but such a nice guy and it was great to get to chat to him along the way. We’re definitely on the same wavelength and we laughed a lot!! If you’re woke or easily offended then this might not be the best place for you, but we all loved it and the banter was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Truffled of Totterdown ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Tim is a character to say the least but he whipped up an absolutely faultless three course meal, all served with the unique Bristol charm. Served in a quirky but cosy setting, like someone's living room. All three dishes were absolutely delicious and he was right, the best roast potatoes & carrots I've ever had. To make it even sweeter - incredibly reasonably priced. We look forward to returning with friends. Thanks Tim

   We recently celebrated my partner's 50th birthday with an unforgettable private dining experience, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was impeccable. The food was simply divine. The meatball starter was nothing short of *orgasmic*—evidenced by the appreciative noises around the table, just packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The chicken main was tender, juicy, and bursting with deliciousness, while the coffee Panna Cotta was a decadent dessert to die for, with the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The drinks flowed seamlessly all night, keeping everyone in high spirits, but what really made the evening special was the chef. Not only was the food outstanding, but the chef himself was a true character—engaging, entertaining, and brought a fun, personal touch to the whole evening. It was an evening of amazing food, great drinks, and endless laughter, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate such a milestone. Highly recommend for anyone looking to create a memorable dining experience with friends and family!

   We had by far one of the best Sunday roasts ever at Tim’s restaurant. The food is absolutely sublime and full of flavour. The bistro itself is so cosy, decorated to create such a welcoming atmosphere from the outset. And Tim is not only an excellent chef, he is a fantastic host too! This place is a must for any food lover!

   We went for our anniversary, Tim lit candles and put us in a quiet romantic part of the restaurant which was so nice of him. The food was amazing, you can tell Tim knows what he is doing and puts his heart into it. Amazing seabass starter, followed by roast pork, with a rosewater panna cotta to finish. Tim is also very funny - you get your meal with a side of personality! We can't wait to go back

   Tim is without doubt the most talented chef/roofer I've ever met. He rustled up a lunch of french classics (Provencal fish soup followed by Confit de canard) that had a remarkably authentic feel to them. Panettone b&b pudding finished it off very nicely. Take your own wine (and maybe glasses, if your fussy) for a real treat. A shame he's not nearer to Cambridge!
