   Went to this newly refurbished pub last night and it didn’t disappoint at all. Great friendly staff welcoming and smiling. As just opened they had a tater menu on with probably the best garlic bread I’ve ever tasted. The place was packed which was bringing a brilliant friendly atmosphere. Loved the thatchers Gold ice cold and hit the mark. Two new dart boards added extra style to the sports bar area. The outside area is clean and tidy with new benches which during warmer weather is an added bonus. They then had a fantastic band on live covering rock and indie hits. Sweet Caroline had the whole pub singing along. New landlords Brendan and Lisa Edward’s are welcoming and you can see that they have a vision to make this pub a place for all in community. Holding future weekly events for all. So go see for yourselves have a drink and some of the top quality food you won’t be disappointed

   Went here and was chased into the bathroom due to them trying to cut down on a “drug issue” when it was not our problem! they need to cut down on this problem another way instead of making paying customers feel uncomfortable by following them into bathrooms!

   Great pub. Various drinks to choose from. Good food menu. Perfect for hanging out with friends early in the week. And generally a nice night out on the weekends too. Customer service is very good. They serve food here and also have a kids menu which is great. Larger and ciders are priced well. Spirits are priced decently. Food is a little on the expensive side but very good and generally worth the money.
