Lovely Gym staff, weekend hours aren't the best sadly only open between 9am and 3pm but it is what it is, facilities are great, sauna been out of action for a while but members can use the steam room at europa at no additional cost whilst repairs are ongoing at guinea gap. The gym itself is well maintained, there's a piece of kit for everything, nothings missing but the gym itself is fairly small so sometimes when it's busy it can be a slight issue but if you're happy to do a split workout in the day I've found that gets around the issue, maybe hit chest of a morning then come back later for triceps etc. 5 stars for the staff, levels of cleanliness, quality of kit and for the nice atmosphere in general at guinea gap gym.
Me and my daughter went to this swimming pool today. We usually go to the west kirby pool and this is so much better. Very warm pool and we had a blast. My only issue was the shower situation in the change village. This seems to be the same in every swimming pool where you can take children. There is never enough of the private showers and there were some form of insects everywhere (I believe to be some kind of mite) but this is a small issue when the rest of the experience was so good. Staff were excellent also.

A little tired and in bed of some refurbishments but staff and classes are awesome. Plus you get great views of the mighty Blues new stadium.
Staff friendly and helpful. Swimming instructors lovely. Seating available during busy lessons is a bit of a pain. No seats upstairs which would be good.
Ali is a super lovely member of staff at guinea gap. The place would fall apart with her. She's always a great listener and will go out of her way to help you in any way she can.
Really friendly staff. It's a no frills pool but was perfect for a family swim.
Signed up myself, two sons and nephews so we could use the gym and other facilities. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable and always happy to help. The facilities are clean and there is a great atmosphere. I highly recommend signing up and using these great services. I just hope that with pending cuts, we do not loose access to these services and team. Great work, and thanks for your support GG Team.
Love going here swimming 2/3 times a week, gym is good too. Can get very busy in training pool but not a problem. The lockers unfortunately always seem to be broken as they're jammed with change, some of the changing cubicles need a completely massive deep clean and would be good if there was an extra drin in the family change area as its sometime like another pool in there. Still gonna go every week tho
