   Spent a lovely lunch time in the Pelican with family, food was purchased and it was some of the best pub grub we gave ever gad, well cooked full of flavours, all meals arrived together, piping hot, good quality ingredients, very impressed with service and atmosphere within the Pelican, I highly recommend there Burger it's fabulous, but so was the Breakfast, Gammon etc etc we all had different dishes but each one cooked to perfection and very well enjoyed. 10 out of 10 for everything, I your wanting food in Chew Magna pop into Pelican you won't be sorry and you will enjoy there menue greatly.

   We had our wedding here Saturday 10th of may. The pelican’s staff did a superlative job. All the decorations and setting, just beautiful and classy. The food was unbelievable, tasty, and perfectly executed. The manager, Dan, was the perfect host for the day, very attentive and professional, all our guests loved him. The most delicious limoncello spritz, very colourful and fresh, made the perfect match with the venue and the vibe. We can’t thank you enough for making us feel special and loved on our magical day.

   Fantastic that the Pelican has started doing lunches. A very simple menu, but one that has something for everyone - Club sandwich, ploughman’s, lasagna, Caesar salads etc. I had the club sandwich which was massive, but delicious!! Bar menu and service is brilliant and we have loved coming for the pop-ups in the evening too. All in all a wonderful pub

   We got a booking at last minute on Thursday evening. Welcoming staff showed us to our table but never asked did we want a drink? Surely in a pub that's the first question. Menu quite limited but other pub was too so maybe they are all cutting down the choices. Burger was pretty good though a bit more coleslaw would have been good. Mrs had the curry which wasn't quite as good as she hoped but edible. Prices much the same throughout the eateries in Chew Magna.

   Called in on Sunday late lunchtime, on the off-chance we could get some food. ?manager couldn't be more helpful; found a gap between bookings for table for 2. Food (veggie roast) was brilliant, service with a smile. Considering we hadn't booked, the staff were wonderful. Very grateful, will use again (but book next time!). Thanks, Pelican!

   Frequently meet friends here, food is great and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and easy going. We use Butcome loyalty and tend to dine on a Wednesday when you get a percentage off, this has amounted to a free meal a year, so well worth doing! Overall, great little spot.

   Had a wonderful vegan burger here, was nice and quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime but perfect for me to get some work done. Good wifi and friendly staff. Good range on the menu and a nice very hot coffee to top it off. Thanks!
