   Went from Christmas dinner and I have to say the food was amazing. Our server Logan was absolutely amazing, he was polite and friendly and his service was perfect and comprehensive. If I had one reason to go back, it would be Logan. Absolutely amazing worker, I hope he gets the recognition he deserves from Managment.

   Visited for the first time on Saturday 9th October . From the minute we entered we were greeted by a lovely girl who was bright cheery and very welcoming so tick tick right away. It has a lovely relaxed ambience with plenty of areas to sit in before dining. We went for the 2 courses at £14.95 which is outstanding value for money especially on today's climate and the meal was spot on....large portions of steak in the steak pie followed by stick toffee pudding which was delicious. Everyone who was on duty treated us like royalty....service was outstanding with the lovely waitress ( think she was called Sam???) making sure we were topped up with drinks throughout the evening. We couldn't have got better service if we had been in a 5 star establishment. All the waiting staff were friendly and really helpful so a huge credit to the team/management Food excellent - staff amazing - very reasonably priced...will definitely be back!! Thank you The Boarding House for a lovely evening...

   Had the 20 quid meals with drinks . Yes for 2 ppl. Large portions main meal plus soft drink. Really good value. Dog friendly. Enough to choose from on 20 quid menu. Very pleasant modern surroundings . Lovely wee waitress . Attentive and efficient . Plenty parking round back of property

   We booked a table for 3 at The Boarding House in Howwood at short notice and were delighted with the experience. They accommodated us without any hassle. My partner and I had our 3-year-old with us, and the staff were absolutely amazing with her—so friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming.    The Boarding House hosted my 30th birthday party on Saturday night and I can’t rate them highly enough! Ellen made booking the venue so easy allowing me to view the room when it suited me and answered all my emails and questions so quickly! The staff on the night were fantastic, so friendly and constantly on the go! The DJ was brilliant, played all our requests and the perfect party songs the dance floor was never empty the whole night! Everyone commented on what a beautiful place it was and how good the buffet was, especially the sausage rolls! Thank you so very much The Boarding House team! You made my night so memorable!

   Lunch today. I have an unusual but severe food intolerance & they had marked up an entire menu with what I could/couldn’t have & what adaptions they could make for me - amazing! Food was excellent-my wife’s feta,pear & cranberry salad was delicious; the white chocolate & raspberry cheesecake to die for! Our server Logan was outstanding - cheerful, helpful, chatty but not too much. We’ll definitely be back - just wish it was closer to Edinburgh where we live.

   09.10.22 - fantastic food and service Came for Sunday lunch with my family. Great variation on a perfectly sized menu, not too little or too much choice. Food was fantastic, gravy was lovely and sweet on the Sunday lunch. Service was quick and the waiter was polite and knowledgeable. Great experience all round!
