Great Sunday lunch for our big table. Couple of bits missed off 2 plates (understandable with 6 x sunday lunch + kids meal) but quickly resolved. All meat perfect, beef medium rare. Excellent. Its just a lovely pub too

We visited The Lamb Inn last night for a pleasant meal. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive from the moment we arrived, which made for a very welcoming experience. Unfortunately, our first choice of the steak and the pie were both unavailable. We opted instead for the burger and the pinwheel sausage. Both meals were genuinely tasty, and the quality of the ingredients shone through. However, there were some notable issues with our order. The burger, while delicious in flavor, was disappointingly lukewarm. The chips that came with it also seemed to lack freshness. The waiting staff did notice our disappointment and were quick to apologize for the issues with the food. Their politeness and professionalism salvaged the evening and showed a true dedication to customer service. Overall, The Lamb Inn has great potential, especially with such a fantastic front-of-house team and flavorful food. A little more attention to detail in the kitchen would make this a truly great dining spot.

Really wonderful pub, lovely garden and inside is cosy and well kept. Absolutely fantastic food, the puddings are literally unbelievable. Lost 2 points for atmosphere due to the congregation of loud sweaty muddy old men clacking around and shouting while sporting an array of unfortunate cycle wear. Also one really entitled snobby guy who took the chair opposite me that clearly had my partners pint in front of it and when I politely told him it was in use he was so rude I actually laughed in amazement. Vile. I suggest you avoid the locals and find a quiet spot to enjoy one of the best meals you will ever eat!

We tried many fish and chips, but this was amazing! The burger so good too! Beautiful place to grab something to eat and chill.

Popped in for a late breakfast with a colleague, so glad we did, what a beautiful place. Friendly & very helpful staff, fresh coffee, and gorgeous locally sourced food prepared to perfection, well worth a trip from South Wales. 5 stars for a 10 out of 10 experience, Highly recommended.

Lovely pub. We had the veggie Sunday roast. Big plate of food (see photo) but mushroom, 5 bean and kale Wellington could have done with more evidence of mushrooms.

Excellent service. Ideal spot in the centre of Axbridge with a varied menu. The lamb inn burger was amazing. Really meaty, juicy and had a sweet relish which made it even better. Dog friendly and the decor was beautiful. Beams and fireplaces and rustic throughout. Well priced for a perfect evening out. Thank you

I visited the Lamb in Axbridge yesterday. Many times I had driven past on my way through the village and thought I should stop by one day. We visited in the early evening for a swift pint. I have to say, I really enjoyed The Lamb. The decor was lovely and the service was great aswell. One of the very few places that I have found thatchers old rascal on tap! The pub felt very homely and I would definately visit again. We loved sitting in the snug watching the fire! We'll worth a visit if you are passing!
