    Are folks here actually getting paid? It seems like the end of the world for them to provide basic customer service. Word of advice, do not come here. They'll stare at you and you'll have to chase them to actually get any service. Awful awful shop. Go somewhere else.

    This is exactly what we were looking for. We had a good idea of what we wanted and didn't want to spend a lot of time given how busy it was. It was easy to find a staff member, they had shoes brought to us and then we were able to pay by card where we were so no waiting in line. This is a good change to the model we are used to.

    I'm pretty sure the blond girl on the floor is forced to work there. Every time I asked for a size or - God forbid - the other shoe she was acting like she's doing me the biggest favor and I should be glad she even does her job... When I finally found the shoes I wanted and dared to ask for a different color she gave me a weird look and pointed like "you got the other pair, what else do you want". It also took ages for them to bring the pair. Not to mention I didn't even get to try one pair as they forgot to bring them..

    Absolutely appalling customer service at this JD Sports branch. The staff β€” mostly uninterested youngsters β€” were dismissive, hostile, and arrogant, clearly more bored with doing their jobs than helping customers. The so-called manager, Jayden, was by far the worst. He acted as though he were the only person smart enough to β€œdetect a scam,” refusing to exchange a pair of faulty shoes I had returned the very same day. When I explained the issue with the shoe, he didn’t like my first answer and accused me of β€œchanging my story” when I gave more detail. Instead of acknowledging that the shoe was clearly faulty, he treated me as if I were trying to cheat the store. His inability to handle a simple exchange was astonishing, and his condescending attitude set the tone for the rest of the equally incompetent staff, who seemed more interested in dismissing me as a β€œdifficult” or β€œrude” customer than resolving the problem. I filed a complaint with head office, who instructed me to go to a different branch where β€” surprise, surprise β€” the return was handled instantly and professionally by a competent manager and friendly staff. That second store showed me what decent service should look like. This location, however, is a disgrace. If you want to be treated with respect as a paying customer, avoid it at all costs

    I bought this Adidas Adizero evo sl and on the same day I was run 5 Km with them in (31 minutes) on and I realised one of the shoes was faulty. The right one. It was not stable. Apparently it was a manufactur's problem. So I send my wife few hours later, same day to change it, or to replace it with something else as my english it's not enough . The staff refused to accept there was something wrongwiththeshoe. A man named Jayden-called himselfthe manager refusing to share his last name-he satified withhimself that sold a faultyshoe refused to exchange it and he asked her to leave the shop... also I returned the box shoes in my hand and another member of staff felt obliged to proctect her competnt manager she told me to leave the storewithoutallowing me to explain... i left the box with the shoes and the receipt in the store. It up to my right now to go against the this firm JD store , any manager or stuffs involved in this situation. this is by far the Worst customer service ever had in UK the last 10 years! I'm looking forward to hearing from the official JD store S James Edinburgh

    You find items on sale which have a price tag. Then you go to the counter and they tell you that the price is wrong and that there was a mistake.. I wonder how many other prices are actually wrong. Just ridiculous. The worst JD shop in Edinburgh no doubt.

    Not got a clue. I was in looking for certain pair of trainers. I asked a staff member, who was clearly tuned to the moon, and didn’t have a clue. JD Sports please train your staff properly, especially the young. You can’t throw them out on the shop floors with no proper knowledge of the brands their selling. Knowledge of products is key in sales.

    awesome place for sportswear lovers. All top brands under one roof. Summer sales is worthwhile. Top brands at great value. Sizes available and lot of variety for kids, men and women. Do try out if you want shoes or akin.

    Fairly standard JD but good to see in the city centre. Good range of sports clothing, not to busy weekday afternoon and reasonable floor layout to browse. Staff were pleasant to speak to.
