   Worst shop experience. I would never shop here again. The staff are extremely rude and have a bad attitude. They follow customers around the shop, which makes you feel uncomfortable and pressured instead of welcomed. The clothing quality is very poor and feels cheap. They also advertise incorrect prices on TikTok and then change the prices when you actually visit the shop. On top of that, when you ask about old stock, they claim it’s “newly arrived” and say it’s on a limited-time discount—even though it’s the same stock that’s been there before. Overall, it’s a very dishonest and unpleasant shopping experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this shop.

   Unprofessional and Disappointing! I visited East Meets West a few weekends ago and bought over 12 suits, spending more than £400. When I got home to iron and pack everything for a wedding down south, I realised the dupatta was ripped. This was only two days after buying it, which suggests the item wasn’t checked properly before being sold. Since then, I’ve called, texted, and even messaged them on TikTok, yet I haven’t received any response. I travelled from outside Glasgow, so going back to the shop isn’t easy — the least I expected was some basic customer service. Overall, I’m quite disappointed. For a shop that sells wedding clothes, I expected a far more professional approach. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend them. If you want to resolve the issue please send a number you will actually answer on!

   Despite their times advising they're open on Sunday, don't believe it. Travelled up from Dumfries. Not open (still not by 2pm!) no phones answered and still not replied to WhatsApp message. (They advise this is the best way to contact them!)

   Staff were overly pushy and followed me around, making the whole visit stressful. The shop is cramped, cluttered, and even had boxes and railings creating trip hazards. I was pressured to make quick choices in the fitting room, then spoken to rudely by the manager in front of others. Terrible service and atmosphere, I won’t be returning.

   Avoid. You basically walk in and the employees stick to you like leaches (sorry for being cheeky) but literally follow your every move, which in itself puts you on the spot? Makes you feel rushed, makes you a little stressed almost like you need to hurry up. The shop itself is tight, cramped and could definitely feel claustrophobic for some so with customers trying to look through clothes and employees keep asking of you like this or that do you want me to put aside it definitely can be overwhelming and stressful. Mind you I didn’t take my 5 year old with me and I’m SO glad I didn’t!! But I’ll start with how the day started - shop Is supposed to open at 12 - I got there few minutes early and waited in my car, two staff members waited outside the store for the manager to arrive with keys, she arrived at 12.20pm or just after I gave them few mins or so to get store ready but when I walked in there were stacks of large boxes on the floor (complete trip hazard) there was a random suitcase I nearly tripped over, and twice TWICE I got barged by the two employees trying to get railings past me outside and instead of a simple “excuse me” so I knew they were behind me and I could avoid getting hurt by moving out the way - nothing, just barged into me twice. What is this lol it’s honestly laughable. Staff rude, pressurising in sales, I had more than one outfit I wanted to try on then I’d know which ones I’d like to buy as they were different styles/colours (3 outfits in total) but was pressured after trying each one by the employee who kept saying “final?” “Final?” Basically is this your final choice she’s asking. As I came out of the fitting room so I could see in better lighting, another customer asked if this was the only fitting room to which the manager replied yes Then turned to me and very abruptly said you cannot try on more than two, you have to make your final decision, you cannot keep trying on clothes. Infront of the employees infront of the customer who wanted to use the fitting room too. Embarrassing. It’s not my problem you only have one fitting room - also fitting room full of boxes stacked on top of each other of stock. I went back into the fitting room and quickly put my clothes back on, I had wasted so much time already and I needed outfits urgently with two young children to get back to I couldn’t afford the time to go to any other store so I made my purchase (3 outfits) and I just wanted out, it was too stressful. Honestly this store is terrible. The service is terrible, the attitude of the manager is terrible, I go here because there is very little choice elsewhere. But after this occasion I will never be back.

   Amazing clothing always go to this shop for my clothes from fancy to simple, customer service is amazing so friendly and welcome material is amazing, bought another dress from the shop today and bought 11 simple suits last week all amazing quality thank you ❤️

   Been here a few times and contrary to other reviews my experience has always been really good. Always managed to get something for my daughters but not for myself! 1st time I was there, they weren't too keen on us trying things on unless tge lady measured my daughters beforehand which was a little annoying, but we managed to try them on so all good. Overall , I've always had a decent experience.

   I ordered my dress online from the sale items. I was a little concerned reading some reviews but I was getting it in plenty of time to make any adjustments if needed. My dress arrived 2 weeks after the order. OMG I've never seen such a beautiful dress. The detail is amazing and it fits perfectly. The invisible zip is a bit stiff...but I've got issues with those types of zips! I'm able to pull it on without undoing the zip so no problem. Even if I had paid the full price it would have been well worth the money. Love love love it.
