I have had issues with this pharmacy in the past so asked the doctor to send the prescription elsewhere. Unfortunately, they ignored my request and sent it to Lloyds. I struggled to make it down before closing time because of sleep issues and the time I was able to make it, they were closed for lunch. I don't know if I am going to have the energy to make it down again today.

I am giving a 1 star only. These chemist branches in Addlestone used to be absolutely brilliant and I just want to know what the hell happened in the last couple of years? You used to only have to wait 10 mins at the most for a prescription, but now it's bordering on almost an hour?? It's shut half the time without any warning, or just closes early because they "can't get the staff" and just seem so disinterested when customers become irate with it all. The reason they say they make you wait 45 mins, because of a software issue that was installed that came from the US, well that says it all really, but if it the old system wasnt broken, why fix it? One day I walked in there to get my medication,4 staff were at the back talking, one looked at me and went right back to talking, it was about 15 mins before any one of them decided to see what I wanted. It's absolutely terrible. If they are going close, just close and let someone else take over.

This pharmacy is ridiculous. This is the third day in a row when I'm unable to pick up my vital prescribed medication. One of these days, three pharmacists were doing something meaningless background work, and strangely, none of them asked us as customers what we were waiting for in a long que? This morning, they did not open their doors because a pharmacist was in late, and then a couple of hours later, now, there's a sign showing that they have some IT issues? So what is going on at this place?

Arrived at 1755 to pick up my daughters prescription. Door was locked. When i knocked and mentioned this. Short blonde lady rudely told me she isn’t seeing anyone else, when I explained it was still within opening times and it was a prescription for my sick 2 year old. Shew didn’t care. Sad really. Especially after being messed around by the Lloyds in chertsey. 3 visits today and no prescription, asked to return 3 times to then be told, ‘we don’t have that is stock’ Little to no help sadly

My daughter visited this pharmacy for her flu jab. The employee at the pharmacy was very rude to her in a totally unnecessary fashion. If 0 star could have been awarded this would have been done, 1 star is unfortunately the lowest. Please note that the pharmacist, who is independent, was very nice and nothing to do with this pharmacy. Update: the Manager called my daughter to sincerely apologise - the pharmacist had alerted her to my daughter’s experience. The person who spoke to my daughter was an agency employee so not connected to the Company. Appreciated that the manager took the time to address.

The staff are working very hard and I appreciate it is not their fault that they are short staffed, but the pharmacy shouldn’t be continuing to take in more prescriptions than they can cope with. They close without warning to try and catch up with their backlog, but it just means that when they are actually open everyone has to collect their prescriptions all at once. This creates a 45 minute queue that they can’t cope with either, not to mention it is less than ideal for people needing prescriptions who have no choice other than just to wait in it. Today they were shut at 3:30pm with a sign on the door that said “we are closed for lunch from 1-4pm”. It’s giving the wrong message and you can no longer trust or rely that this pharmacy will be open when it’s supposed to be.

I give "0"!!!! the worst pharmacy I have met in 16 years of my stay in the UK ... recently closed more often than open, there are mistakes in dispensing drugs, I personally received sleeping pills instead of penicillin ... several times I came to the pharmacy for 2 days in a row and the pharmacy was closed.Three times after such a two-day closing of the pharmacy in the middle of the week, when I found an open pharmacy, I was forced to stand in the queue 1-1.5h ... They are not serious, incompetent, they make mistakes .. today you opened me the door to inform me that it is closed today, but she agreed to check if my prescriptions were in place, she informed me that unfortunately there was no one. When I went to the clinic and after q5 minutes I returned with my prescription number, it turned out that my prescription was also in front of the pharmacy there was already a queue of about 25 people, the pharmacy served people on the street in the door, finally they decided to let people in, where I spent 1.5 hours in the queue ... crutches in an orthosis on the foot and ankle, I have 1.8 miles to the pharmacy from home ... so such trips 2-3 times a week to pick up 1 prescription are quite a challenge for me. she came tomorrow ... the third day in a row! These are some mockery and jokes about people. I personally asked my GP to change the pharmacy ... I was in this one for the last time. I DON'T RECOMMEND ... TODAY I LOST 3.5 hours to collect my prescription and I had to cover 3.6 miles by 2 crutches on foot + walk to GP and back

A friend of mine had a very similar experience to another review at this pharmacy the other day. She too queued for well over an hour, only to be told they couldn’t find her prescription. After she’d checked with her doctors and the pharmacy looked again they then said she would have to wait 45 minutes. Her health problems would have made this an extremely uncomfortable experience and I’m frankly shocked that a so-called ‘reliable’ brand could let their customers down this badly. My own local Lloyds pharmacy is rather unreliable, but hearing about the Addlestone branch suddenly makes them seem not too bad!

Utterly appalling. You closed your other pharmacy in Addlestone and the larger pharmacy cannot cope. You wait 45 minutes only to be told that they cannot find your prescription. Then you come back after verifying with the doctor that the prescription has been sent and and another 45 minutes in the queue, only for the staff to tell you to come back an hour later because they are busy. If LLoyds cannot provide a service then they should shut down and let a decent company take their place. I would have told this face to face, but they close at 1pm on Saturdays. Ridiculous.
