We drove to have a walk along the beach. Beautiful beach and easily accessible. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of rubbish as we walked along the beach but we did our part and picked a few bits up along the way which I would urge everyone to do.

We booked for 2 kids and 1 adult and had a lovely time. It was start of the summer holidays, so I am not quite sure why the outdoor pool isn't open yet. I assumed it would be usable on the day of booking, especially when it was 20°C+. Considering the money that Rhyl Council have spent on the new centre, it isn't huge and I can imagine that during peak or really busy times, it will quite claustrophobic in there. The changing rooms are of a good size though and are clean. The pool area and selection of slides could be greater but for the day they were fine.

We did the ninja tag, which was great fun and a good way to get the kids moving. The place is clean and tidy. The only only negatives were that not all the tags were working and £2.50 for a bottle of water is a little on the steep side.

Wasn't sure what to expect from SC2 as the last time I was around this way was years ago when Rhyl sun centre was the pool of choice. SC2 is really good! Came here for a kids party and my eldest was in the pool, playing safely and had a blast. Everywhere was really clean, I was able to sit in a cafe type area where I could see everything that was going on whilst connected to the WiFi doing some work with a Costa and some food. The portion size of the food was quite large and it tasted great. The staff were pleasant and we're always walking around tidying things up and watching what was going on in the pool - felt very safe. There is an outside splash area which wasn't in use, which made sense due to the weather this time of year but we'll almost certainly come back based on this experience. It's clear that they've invested in the centre, bit it's really paid off - very well worth a visit. Couldn't really post pictures of the pool as there were lots of people in it and it didn't feel right but there's loads on Google if you look for them.

Love love loved it here, took our 6 year old and 10 month old, warm water, very clean, no ques for rides. Only issue was slow service at the main cafe, waited 10 minutes to get served and left in the end as the 1 girl serving was not too confident and was very slow and left alone. She seemed new so should have had some support.

Paid for entry to get in after calling to see if the soft play is suitable for a 1 and a 3 year old, and it totally isn't. Too difficult for my 3 year old who has never had a problem at any soft play we've been to and the baby section was pretty pathetic. No food served in the week, which isn't mentioned anywhere on the website even though there's menus on the walls everywhere, I've looked everywhere so if it is it must be in tiny writing somewhere! Staff on phones just ignoring us, asked if there's food served and didn't even get a verbal answer just shook her head while looking at her phone. Paid for parking and to get in, to spend 10 minutes there and drove off. Wouldn't recommend!

It's quite expensive but it is very clean and one of the best places I have been to. Toddler section in swimming is fantastic with variety of slides and water equipment, and has 6 slides for the older kids (over 1.2 metres). Soft play is great for kids and is a very decent size and ninja tag for older kids looks amazing. Make sure you book online b4 you go as it does get busy.

I can't say a lot for the facilities like the pool, slides or play centre as we only used the cafe, so that's what this review is for. The cafe area was really clean and well maintained, with the staff there making sure it stayed this way too! The selection was quite good as well-with some decent gluten free options which was great for my coeliac partner, daughter and niece. The staff themselves were super helpful and made us feel as if nothing was too much trouble! Even when it grew close to closing time (we came back after having lunch earlier in the day) they didn't make us feel awkward or as if we were in the way! So, great facilities, great menu but even better staff!
