   I was really excited to try Smile Thai Café because I’m aThai food lover and have traveled throughout Thailand. The food here truly did not disappoint me it was delicious. However, I was very surprised and disappointed by the customer service. When we arrived, the server had a very annoyed expression, and while taking our order, her tone was irritated, as if she was having a very bad day. It made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable, especially since we came in excited to enjoy the food. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, especially for Thai restaurants that I genuinely want to support, but this experience was upsetting. I hope the management can look into improving the service, because the food itself is excellent and deserves to be enjoyed in a warm and friendly environment.

   This place seems to be a family run business. The food was authentic Thai food. Me and my 2 friends enjoyed the meal here and spice levels are what you will get when you visit Thailand. We ordered the Thai prawn green curry, penang curry, duck stir fry with cashews, pork belly stir fry, beef stir fry, egg fried rice and coconut rice. The staff were attentive to whatever we needed. I will definately return the next time I visit Swindon.We needed to book a table as the restaurant is very popular among the people here.

   A quaint little place, pretty decor, and everything was very clean. We were the only people eating in on a monday evening, although there were plenty of people picking up food to takeaway. The food was well priced and very tasty, I would definitely come back if i was in the area again. No wonder it has so many shining reviews. Staff were friendly and really accommodating for a coeliac in our group. Thanks much :)

   Smile Thai has always been an amazing place to eat. Friendly staff, great food, good prices & quick service. We had a chicken satay to start between us then the crispy tamarind duck, sweet-basil chilli stir fry with sticky rice (rice is separate to main meals) for main. It was all so delicious we wanted to try the crispy beef & vegetable tempura (aubergine, carrot, green bean, broccoli & mushroom) which each came with a sauce and was, again, delicious. Also, at the time of writing, if you pay the bill in cash you get 10% off!
