   Lovely small cosy restaurant with excellent burgers. The staff were absolutely lovely, bubbly and service was quick. The food was so so good!! I couldn't of asked for a better chicken burger. Parked around the corner in borough parade pay and display and that was only a 3 minute walk. We were running slightly late but when we got there all was okay and our table by the bar was perfect!

   Despite all the brilliant reviews, I had an impression that this would be a slightly cheesy place because of the name and all the ‘coq’ puns. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s a very cool, intimate atmosphere with vibey music and lovely staff. The food was incredible - both the veggie and chicken options - and generous portions. We didn’t have room for pudding so took home a little tiramisu, which is also homemade. Super impressed, and we will be regulars - but please please open a branch in Devizes :-)

   Great experience and amazing food! My parents chose this location for lunch so I didn't get a chance to look at the menu before hand and was not aware most of the menu items had dairy, however staff were very accommodating of my lactose intolerance. I ordered the Coq & waffle and the chef substituted the buttermilk chicken for grilled chicken and switched the Brioche bun for another waffle. The grilled chicken was very well cooked and juicy. Would definitely reccomend this location

   Visited Coq restaurant with my partner last weekend. Cannot fault the food or service. We both had a burger and shared loaded fries, delicious and be prepared to be full! Bottle of wine was £18 which is reasonable and was very nice. There are only 2 bench style tables in a small space so be prepared to sit with others in close proximity. My partner and I were sat at the bar to eat which isn't fit for purpose and would be my only negative feedback. I'm 5,10 and felt like a child sat at a table that was too big. You have to lift your arms up yo shoulder height to be able to eat and it was incredibly challenging and uncomfortable. The bar stools, padded and comfortable need to be a foot taller to make it work. The stools at the tables would possibly be high enough or some kind of platform needs to be built to make it higher overall. I'd say the success of the food has made it a business that's outgrown its premises already. High volume of people coming in to collect takeaways and seemed like a very swift service. I'd definitely eat here again but request to sit on one of the tables.

   Absolutely phenomenal! The food was excellent and came out really quickly! The colonel has nothing on these guys. Great service, fantastic food and a lovely location just outside Chippenham town centre. Plus they also do takeaway! We will definitely be back. Also, make sure you get the chilli jam!

   Where to start! Honestly our favourite restaurant in Chippenham, or anywhere right now. Will and the team are fantastic at cooking up delicious food, cold beers, and always a great welcome! Take out or eat in, both are fantastic. Generous portions and great value. Cannot fault this place. Leave room for the tiramisu.
