    Wish you could give minuses marks here, but seems not to allow it, as there service in all aspects is so bad. You have to ring numerous times on telephone & try all 4 options to get through, seems only one option is answered though & just takes long time to answer. Then unfortunately you get someone who does not understand English properly, so they cannot answer your question, because they do not understand it fully. Then when you have been trying to help male adviser understand for 5 mins, women grabs receiver. Saying agitatedly & loudly you have been on call 7 mins, which is too long, what is problem. You try to tell Lady question about Covid & Flu vaccinations, that just needs yes or no answer. Unfortunately Lady interrupts twice during first sentence of question, saying like faster faster & what ! Then when I try to complete question, cuts me off saying you are to slow, come to Pharmacy. This all took with Lady less than 2 mins & I already told her & previous male adviser. I wanted to get answer to question before coming to Pharmacy, as if I could not get vaccine there was no point to come. As I could not make long car trip or multiple car trips, because I was too sick to drive far. Lady Ignored this though & still cut me off within 2 mins of her coming on call. Obviously I would not go to this Newbury Park Brtannia Pharmacy ever now. Most reviews are 1 star for Pharmacy or some strange 5 star reviews, with standard remarks & similar words. Nothing in middle 2,3 or 4 star anywhere, I would say 5 star reviews are completely false & organise by management to bring average up. Therefore average review rating should really be 1.5 star if not 1, as every real review rates this place 1. I want to put minus 2, but would not even let me put 0, so like everyone else I put lowest rating it would allow. You have been warned, Please Please for your own sake do not go hear, otherwise your health will be in severe jeopardy. Thanks for reading this, hope it helps you, good luck & all the best Steve.

    Last week, I bought my prescription from Britannia Pharmacy for a nasal spray. It worked for about three or four days, then the pump stopped working, so I couldn't use it. I took it back and told them, and the girl behind the counter tried to 'fix' it, and handed it back to me. I tried again and it seeped over the sides onto my hands. She refused to change it, saying that as it worked when I bought it, I would have to contact the manufacturer. She was smirking as she said it. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, she is obliged to give me a full refund or change the product, as it is faulty. I shall be reporting this lot to Trading Standards.

    My GP at Cranbrook Surgery referred me in September 2024 for 24-hour blood pressure monitoring at Britannia Pharmacy, Horns Road, IG2 6BN. I attended the appointment, and the device was fitted, which I wore for a full 24 hours. It was extremely uncomfortable, as it tightened around my arm every 5 minutes, even while I was trying to sleep. I returned the device the next day as instructed. I was told my blood pressure was within normal range and that the results would be forwarded to my GP. Nearly a year later, I found out the data was never sent. Even worse, Britannia Pharmacy falsely claimed that I had declined the monitoring β€” a complete lie. I do NOT recommend Britannia Pharmacy for any clinical observations or monitoring. They are unreliable and untrustworthy.

    Britannia pharmacy used to be a decent place but is fast becoming is a disgrace to the community. They do not speak to you like a human being but rather quote their lame policies which you are supposed to accept without question whilst they blatantly ignore consumer rights. I heard they refused to change a product for a lady once she walked out of the door with it – even though she had bought it just then. A similar thing happened to me: I bought something and realised when I got home that it was the wrong one. I didn't have time to go back but when I did, 3 days later they told me they were not 'allowed' to accept a return because it was a 'medicine'! (which it was not) - It was sealed and exactly as I bought it; new and unused. They said: "If you bought it back o the day we would have refunded you" really??? So 3 days somehow changes their policy?! After protesting my rights with the apprentices who just stared at me with blank faces and kept repeating the same company generated sentence; one of the older girls came out and pointed to a small printed 'policy' stuck to the bottom of the counter. How dare I cause a scene? I should bow my head and obey without question to their policy maker. By this time, it was clear they just wanted to get rid of me asap. People like this do not deserve to be in the 'healthcare’ industry because there is no β€˜caring’ present. No doubt the response to this will be another company generated comment, like this one: "It is company policy not to do refunds in the interests of health and safety" - but when a product is sealed and brand new, there is no threat to health or safety. However, any discussion about this on a personal basis is strictly prohibited in the interests of censorship of your opinion and rights. It could actually be considered as a kind of abuse towards the customer who is often bullied into submission by β€˜policies’. The conclusion: No β€˜healthcare’ here!

    Always very friendly and helpful. Always get dealt with extremely quick and caters to a number of different services such as vaccination, daily pick up medication and also do heart rate monitoring etc.

    I found this pharmacy to be very helpful especially today.The pharmacist was very knowledgeable -on my medications which was helpful and reassuring.I didn’t take his name but well done for your service appreciated it.He is a pleasant guy who was also helpful today 09/11/2022 thanks Jay

    Absolutely disgusting service. Always late with my elderly mothers repeat prescriptions. Most recent experience was antibiotics for chest infection sent direct to pharmacy on visit to gp, 4days later still nothing so go to pharmacy to chase to be told don't have item, I said its been 4days antibiotics are for infection usually someone is quite unwell yet no phone call ro advise nothing, I get told you should have come to chase it!!!!! How dare she, customer service manager she is NOT!!! NO MANNERS, RUDE, I told her I have novovirus so been in bed for days and told not their problem! Disgusting, told to go somewhere else! I have removed my elderly mum and das from their prescriptions service!!! DO NOT USE
