   Fantastic little cafe, friendly and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious as were the home made cakes. The smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel was superb, highly recommended.

   Great little shop that does all their own bakes; had an eggs benedict on sourdough, which was tasty and simple, and a matcha latte which I appreciate isn't sweetened by default. Stopped back a few days later for a fruit scone which was also well worth it.

   Lovely little cafe. Clean, bright and cakes, pastries to die for. Well priced, cheaper than many and friendly staff. It would get 5 stars but for 2 issues. Cafes that don't have teapots need to have a rethink, it's how tea should be served, not in a cup. Obviously don't teach this in barista school as many cafes fall down here. Second, although fruit scone was perfect, it wasn't heated. 10 secs in microwave makes all the difference. Otherwise great cafe.

   Highly recommend a visit to Mon Ami. It’s a great cafe for coffee/tea and a treat. We are really lucky to have somewhere like this in the area, rather than the usual chains. The shop is kept very clean, the staff are really friendly and welcoming, the coffee is so tasty (the beans that they use are from a local coffee roaster and 100x better than anything you’ll ever get from your average costa/starbucks) and the baked treats are delicious! They also take orders for celebration cakes which look amazing. If you’re in the area I would definitely support this local business!!

   Just popped in as I was waiting for my daughter's ballet class to finish and needed a little pick me up. All I can say is I had one of the BEST Nutella filled cookies I've ever had and a beautiful warm latte. Lovely staff, very clean establishment and yummy treats! Would highly recommend!

   Having seen 5* review on Google, 3 of us popped in to Mon Ami for a coffee on Thursday morning this week. We were not disappointed. Terrific barista coffee with freshly baked scones from friendly staff who apparently also specialise in birthday and wedding cakes. We’ll be back.

   The cafe is bright and airy with a slightly minimalistic feminine touch. Very friendly/personable owner who makes her own brownies, cup-cakes and cookies etc, with (as mentioned in other reviews) Biscoff cookies being a major star of the show. If you are shopping in the nearby Asda and fancy a coffee, why would you want to sit in its run of the mill cafeteria, when you could walk a few yards and visit this very fine establishment ? Try it !!!

   We are fortunate to have discovered this place during our short stay. Best coffee in the area. It is a very social kind of place. We learned a lot from chatting with the owner, Ami. This is a completely different kind of coffee shop / bakery. Ami started it as a location for her wedding cake business. She just naturally added small cakes and cupcakes. Coffee then was added to make it a treat to stop and enjoy the morning or afternoon. I'm sure you can still order a wedding cake. I was there for a coffee and a cupcake.
