Went again this morning. The young lady serving was polite and helpful. Coffee very good and served in nice cups. Fairly busy but nice and peaceful to have a chat with friends. Haven’t purchased any food but the cakes etc look good.
Unfortunately, we had a poor experience here. The staff member that served us was impatient and rushed us while we tried to work out what we wanted to order. The same staff member had visible dirt under their fingernails and didn’t make eye contact with us through the entirety of our conversation. They didn’t provide us with what we initially intended to order, and sighed to colleagues in front of us. I totally understand that customer service can be a tricky job, but this experience was rather off putting and unwelcoming, especially when the attitude began before we had even opened our mouths to order. Furthermore, the brownie I ordered was completely stale and seemed to have absorbed the odours of the fridge. The cafe was dirty, and despite being relatively quiet, we found it difficult to find a table clean enough to eat at. On a slightly more positive note, the choc chip muffin was delicious!
Lovely wee place. The staff are very friendly and we're engaging and really nice to my young son. The owner should be proud of them. I will be back again. The cakes were really nice. Had a nice chat to a few older ladies too.
Decent cafe experience! Coffee was good, but not wow. Carrot cake was a highlight - delicious and fresh! Mud cake didn't quite hit the mark, though. Seating area was comfy and clean. Good option for a quick coffee or snack while shopping at the mall. Just manage your expectations.
2nd visit 27th Jan Came in for the second time and disappointed. My cappuccino, that I got last time, was perfect. Made by a young man. This time, different staff, was made milky with hardly any froth. I don't like lattes. Maybe I should have asked for a dry cappuccino, its not normally this milky in other coffee shops so i didn't feel i needed to. There was an error with our order: We asked for peppermint tea, received peppermint tea bag and a cup plus a pot of hot water. However the pot had a regular tea bag in it, so when we poured it into the cup, it was regular tea, plus peppermint tea mixed in one cup. Quickly this was rectified. Disappointed that the attention to detail was not the same as last time. Not consistent at all. See post regarding my first visit which I rated full stars; My first visit was excellent It was my first time trying this place. Our food and coffee were delicious. I had a ciabatta and sausage roll, which we shared. My coffee was made with soya milk, it was perfect. Best of all was the lovely young man who served us. Explained the drinks and food to us and took his time.
Very quiet this morning, Just in catching a ( Very nice) latte and a muffin to kill some time . Very clean and pleasant, friendly staff, pointed out I had some freebies on my loyalty card. So enjoyed a for free blueberry muffin along with the latte. Good start to the day!
Brilliant service from a lovely lady called Shannon. Absolute asset to the place. Food was brilliant and the coffee was tasty. Worth the short wait in the queue.
Useless coffee shop the staff are slow went in here yesterday the lights were all on the entry was opened no sign of it being closed there was also a little boy wanted to go he lined up after the staff was finish yapping to each other told us OH WE ARE CLOSED sorry, then why is the shutter or door not closed why is there access why is the question we can get in and not get served anyway shopped around when going back towards other mall which was round about 6pm saw something that really ticked me off one of the staff was stuffing her face with pastry I wanted to laugh but was so annoyed what I saw and still no sign of it looking closed lights were still on etc so this place needs to sort its closing policy asap and staff training and if your closed show it then not display your own cravings such a comedy scene.
Love this little coffee shop. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Nice decor. Friendly staff and clean. I got a caramel latte blended iced frappe and it was really good! Good price as well. Didn’t have any food but it all looked so good. plenty of seats inside and a little bit outside as well. I went early in the morning and it was pretty quiet.
