“Such a lovely place. Staff is really nice and helpful. Loads o vegan options and food is simply delicious. We didn't wait long and service was swift. Highly recommend.”
“My little girl had her fourth birthday party at Tots Spot and it was fantastic! We had exclusive use of the place for all of her friends and they provided lovely snack boxes. The place all set up for us and spotlessly clean. Sarah was so helpful throughout and couldn’t do enough to help us. It was so relaxed and enjoyable, I would 100% recommend!”
“Amazing little cafe, tha pancakes and burgers were delicious. Beautiful friendly welcoming atmosphere and attentive generous staff. If we are up in Livingston again will definitely be coming!”
“So happy we found this lovely little village cafe! Fantastic breakfast and coffee all served by the friendly cafe owner.”
“We love cafe Alba! Lovely surroundings and furnishings. Welcoming and friendly staff. Great food and coffee!!”
“Very friendly staff, wide variety of homemade sweets, breakfast and lunch. Our favorite place in East Calder for something delicious.”
“Nice and relaxing and seems out of the way but so close”
“Really good experience here tonight, food was lovely, service was fast & friendly, we had burgers & onion rings, which were huge. Came in as we had an offer but will definitely be back to try the steaks. Recommend if you are in the area. Hubby had the Highlander burger which he said was delicious, I had the hot chix I asked for sauce separate, thankful I did it was hot for me but nice.”
“Food is always lovely and staff very friendly.”
“Visited twice last week and couldn’t have been happier with the service at Barbour. Staff were friendly and attentive on each of my visits. Very happy with my purchase also.”
“HUGE shoutout to the amazing blonde barista at the Starbucks in Livingston! She was an absolute ray of sunshine this morning! Not only was she incredibly friendly but she also went above and beyond. Such amazing positivity she genuinely made my day brighter.”
“Lovely staff and food. Lots of kids and very warm.”
“Pleasantly surprised to see Avril running a cafe. The atmosphere was cosy and warm and great to see a friendly face and staff were friendly definitely friendly place to go in Craisghill”
“Completely underrated coffee shop. It's peaceful, clean, the coffee is good and the staff are lovely. The cakes aren't bad either but there's not a huge selection. If you're looking for a quiet coffee, this beats Starbucks, Costa and Nero hands down.”
“This my secret place when I need coffee after 6 PM :)”
“Thank you for Danny ! Last minute Christmas lunch and he hasn’t failed us. Though it was a stressful day for Danny and an hour to shut down, he was still smiling, welcoming, cool, calm and collected and very efficient which made the day even brighter ! Thank you for Danny”
“I always come here almost every week to eat pizza. My favourite one is Hawaiian, but today they didn't make it, so I tried pepperoni pizza. It is fine. I liked it. Here we also have some drinks and desserts. I would recommend it.”
“Ordered the ultimate breakfast. Pretty good. Fast delivery. Food still warm upon arrival. Nothing missing.”
“Was warmly welcomed by Tracey on reception who was most helpful. Room was much better than expected for a 3 star hotel, very clean and fresh, decent shower, and fluffy towels. The bed was quite comfortable, could've used an extra pillow, but that's just my preference. Onsite restaurant ,Oscars, had a good choice to suit most palates, I particularly enjoyed the steak pie. Overall, a very nice stay, and I would stay there again in future.”
“went here with the kids once back in 89, beautiful decor, fabulous options, I miss when you could use a car and drive inside. more juicy steaks nowadays”
“We use this wonderful place every Friday...most authentic tasting Indian food you'll ever experience in Scotland....Will not choose anywhere else.. You just have to eat from here x”
“Great coffee, lots of plant based milks for the vegan or lactose intolerant. Many options: latte, cappuccino, mocha, chai - you name it and also, seasonal drinks. Also, lots of cakes and desserts. Personally tried a (vegan!) cinnamon bun/roll - whatever you wanna call it, it was delicious! Friendly owners/staff”
“Elizabeth was really wonderful and made our day. She was kind, helpful and very funny. We missed our flight and were scrambling for somewhere to stay. We had booked the farmhouse as it was close and affordable and are so glad we did! The rooms were cozy and clean and the breakfast was really delicious. Elizabeth has been running the B&B for most her life and it really shows in the hospitality she showed us. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others. There are no fridges in the rooms and the tv is small but that’s part of B&Bs usually anyway.”
“Lovely, clean and spacious surroundings, in a quaint old building - with car parking at entrance. Home made lentil soup was piping hot and really tasty. And some quite unique cheesecake flavours - all the ones we ordered were delicious. Wasn’t that busy for lunchtime which seems such a shame. It is a little off the beaten track, but well worth a visit.”
“Visited tonight to see the Wizard of Oz absolutely fabulous show what a great night the kids, 2 and 3, had a ball it was their first time at anything like this and the team were amazing. The venue is beautiful staff super helpful and friendly and the restraunt food was delicious well worth a visit”
“Friendly staff and really great food (good portions and most importantly, great taste). Great range of gluten free options, too which is a big deciding factor in where we eat owing to gluten intolerance. Also good value, had a cider with my meal and the price was good. Will be back. P.s. the chips are really good here.... Big, fluffy and crunchy.”
“This is a lovely pub with good programmes, delicious drinks, and yummy food. The service was excellent. We didn't realise we needed a reservation, so there was no seats available inside. The lady (dunno if she was a manager) explained that we could stay and have drinks outside until 8:30p.m., but she'd let us know if a table became available. Our drinks, Captain's orders and *can't recall the pink one* were just what the doctor ordered. I had an 6-hour braised beef and my sister had a burger. Both were sooooo yummy! Dunno why I didn't take pictures. I can't wait to visit on a Thursday - the steak is calling my name! The music was good, and at a sensible volume. The bathrooms are clean; there's an ♿ accessible one too.”
“Wow this place is just fantastic. A hidden gem. The food and service were excellent. Such a beautiful location, good parking and baby facilities. Family friendly. Definitely will be back.”
