“Really good experience here tonight, food was lovely, service was fast & friendly, we had burgers & onion rings, which were huge. Came in as we had an offer but will definitely be back to try the steaks. Recommend if you are in the area. Hubby had the Highlander burger which he said was delicious, I had the hot chix I asked for sauce separate, thankful I did it was hot for me but nice.”

“Gorgeous meal. We dropped in on our way back to Edinburgh for a late lunch. The owner/chef was very attentive and our pastas (seafood and carbonara) were superbly cooked. Al dente and flavourful, with a generous enough portion for us to take some home for dinner! Premises were sparkling clean and there was a kids' special menu as well.”

“This is a lovely pub with good programmes, delicious drinks, and yummy food. The service was excellent. We didn't realise we needed a reservation, so there was no seats available inside. The lady (dunno if she was a manager) explained that we could stay and have drinks outside until 8:30p.m., but she'd let us know if a table became available. Our drinks, Captain's orders and *can't recall the pink one* were just what the doctor ordered. I had an 6-hour braised beef and my sister had a burger. Both were sooooo yummy! Dunno why I didn't take pictures. I can't wait to visit on a Thursday - the steak is calling my name! The music was good, and at a sensible volume. The bathrooms are clean; there's an ♿ accessible one too.”

“I had heard from my neice about the mixed grill in the Saltire and I'm glad she suggested it as it was the best meal I have had in a very long time it was stunning. I said to Nathan that I enjoyed my meal more than I had in other places and I said I would be back for more and I certainly will be soon. “Just had an amazing steak with king prawns and all the trimmings. 10oz ribeye cooked to perfection by chef Robbie. This comes after an extremely disappointing steak at a well known commercial steak house on Saturday. “I love the music well some of it. I always go there really early like on Saturday just past I went there for 6:30pm thinking that the bouncers were there to let me in.
