Lovely steak meal with family, couldn't fault anything. Was really busy but the lovely waitress Andrea coped with no issues. Andrea was really great and a credit to the business. Would recommend to friends and family :)
Just had an amazing steak with king prawns and all the trimmings. 10oz ribeye cooked to perfection by chef Robbie. This comes after an extremely disappointing steak at a well known commercial steak house on Saturday. Robbie smashed them out of the park with a great cut of meat, cooked and served perfectly by Andrew. Thanks to all the staff at Deer Park for a great stay.
What a place Totally unplanned stop here, need food, and got a lovely 3 course, small bites and a lovely lasagne and dessert. Oh man it was great , staff were nice obviously had to ask about the starter again as it wasn't put down on the order. Blalso got a cheeky discount of all of our meals. Thanks to the biker guys there, lovely atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon here. Food was hot and good portions given. Thanks again.
We visited today, we waited a short time to be seen by anyone, we were told "I'll get someone" by a member of staff we continued to wait, a different staff member then said "I'll go get someone, won't be long" continued to wait then eventually, we were seated and put our drinks order in, we knew we'd go for the ultimate Sunday roast as we have had it in our local beef eater and loved it, unfortunately, this was not the case, after a long wait and what appeared to be our meals sat on the pass for some time getting cold, we were served it, it was easily half the portion of the ultimate Sunday roast we've had at another beef eater, it was barley warm after sitting on the pass for some time which we could see from our seats, alot of it was actually inedible. Our son who has sensitivities to foods due to additional support needs will only have the skin on fries so we asked for a portion of these (again this is what he has at our local beef eater) they served a tiny dish with a small handful of fries which again had sat on the pass for sometime and we're not exactly warm. The waitress didn't once come back to check how our meal was or anything. It's really disappointing that we're £60 down yet still hungry after a meal, we then had to call on another staff member for the bill as we sat with plates and empty glasses for sometime, we didn't dare stay for dessert after the time and disappointment of the meals. We definitely wouldn't recommend this particular beef eater after today, and we'll definitely not be returning to the particular one, we'll stick to our local one.
Haven't been for a good while and now our usual closer place has decided to finish serving early this will be our new restaurant for a quick weekday or weekend bite. Plenty of choice on the menu and although I've not fancied burger for ages I went for one, not disappointed and was tasty. I like a thinner patty and this was perfect. Loads of dessert choices and will definitely be back to try others. This time I went for the crunchy cheesecake. Overall a good place to go where you can almost guarantee a seat and reasonably priced tasty food.
Starter was described as: Buttermilk Chicken Goujons. Chicken breast in a light & crispy buttermilk. What I received was some reformed chicken pieces in a herb breadcrumb. When I raised my concern with the waiter they didn't see the problem because I decided to eat it rather than wait for something they clearly didnt have, and they didn't seem to know what buttermilk chicken is. On the plus side the steak was as I would expect from a Beefeater.
Good place to eat Scottish breakfast. Nice service. I recommend it for the whole family
Had a late meal hear after a long drive. The staff were friendly on arrival, we were down straight to our table and drinks brought within two minutes with food following straight after. We were served by a lovely Lady called Andrea who checked in on us several times. Great, couldn't have asked for more.
Good food. They have an outside seating area which is handy if you're a dog owner. Ordered a burger and a mixed grill. Good portions.
